HI ALL I AM HOPING YOU CAN LEND A HAND!!! WE WILL BE DRIVING IN AND JUST NEED ONE NGIHT AS WE WILL BE GETTING INTO THAT AREA IN THE WEE HOURS AND OFF TO THE RIVERSIDE THE NEXT DAY!

JUST NEED A COST EFFECTIVE CLEAN PLACE TO REST MY TIRED HEAD AND RECHARGE BATTERY TO GET MY WDW VACATION STARTED!!

I DON"T NEED A POOLS OR ACTIVITES AS WE WILL NOT HAVE THE TIME TO USE THEM .....WILL BE IN BIG RUSH IN THE AM TO GET OVER TO WDW AND THE RIVERSIDE !!!

I CAN DO WITHOUT EXTRAS SUCH AS BED BUGS AND LOUD CRAZY PEOPLE, THE WUIETER THE BETTER FOR THIS WIERY TRAVELER!

you are close to DD also.

there aren't many outside near Epcot - Fairfield bonnet creek and gaylord - are both expensive - a little further along US 192 - is Best Western Lakeside and Quality Inn - both closer to AK than Epcot.

on the other side closer to DD are several nice hotels - Sheraton Safairs, Cypress Pointe, County Inn, Embassy, to name just a few.

I might even try priceline for one night - try $35 for a 2.5 star in the WDW area.

What price range are you looking for? Sometimes you can get a great rate right there at the Swan or Dolphin.

I second the Best Western Lakeside. Very nice rooms, very close to the parks.
Another inexpensive, clean motel is the Quality Inn Maingate West. It is next to the Best Western Lakeside (lake in between). It also includes a free continental breakfast.

Well I did not wish to spend more than 80.oo not easy but thats my hope. We are driving down form North East PA, which will be a 20 hour drive. I had hoped to stip near Hiton head but the rates in April will not be possible. Ontop of this DS 10 will not know it is his birthday present and Dh too! Theya re two days apart. SO we will be staying at PO Riverside for 9 days and had hoped to stop at a beach and draw a Mickey head in the Sand and see what he says! We havent worked out the announcement either ! I am not so together thankfully I have some time to plan!

My other thought was maybe get a place in Kissimee outside the park that was a great family place and let him think that is his present. Honestly I fear budgeting the hotels outside Disney will be the hardest point of this trip!

so enough of all that babbling out of me any tips are soooo very welcome!

I am simply amazed how crazy I can get myself trying to work out a plan!
