Need cheap parking in Boston/Logan Airport

Hey all! New England girl here, but haven't had to park extended time in Logan for years and I am now amazed at what "economy" parking will cost me! I'm looking for some more reasonable/easy options.

I'll be driving into Logan from Bristol, RI for a morning flight (6:55 am) and then departing from Logan in the late evening and driving back to central New Hampshire.

Economy parking on site will cost me $80 (plus they are saying it is limited due to current snow conditions). Logan Express shuttle will cost me $72 (plus tip to the bus driver) AND add an hour to my early a.m. travel time on departure day (to allow for the shuttle's schedule) and 30 minutes additional on the ride home when we get back. I haven't been able to find an affordable "sleep/park/fly" hotel package.... most are either sold out or more expensive than I had originally figured on.

I am not opposed to driving to a T station and taking the T into Logan, but I am definitely NOT familiar with the and again, wouldn't want to add a ton of time to my morning travel.

Any suggestions??? ...................P

We found it was cheaper to do the park, stay, fly program with Days Inn in Saugus. Basically, you rent a room for a night and can park your car free there for up to 14 days. They will shuttle you to and from the airport. We really liked this as we had an early morning flight so we were able to get there the night before and then just take the shuttle into the airport.

They will shuttle you to and from the airport. We really liked this as we had an early morning flight so we were able to get there the night before and then just take the shuttle into the airport.

Thanks for the suggestion. Couldn't find a Days Inn listed for Saugus... the nearest one listed was Harvard/Fenway and it was sold out for the one overnight we need.... but thanks anyhow.....P

No, the $80 was for the whole stay (early Saturday to late evening Tuesday), but still.....

Hey all.... thanks for all the info and the links. It seems that I will be all set now. I am going to pay for economy parking at Logan. It isn't the cheapest, but since we are leaving so very early, I don't want to build extra time into our morning by dealing with an off-site parking situation with a shuttle. And many of the park/sleep/fly hotel deals aren't available because the hotels are dealing with an overload of snow in their extended parking facilities! Thanks again..................P

Drive to Braintree Logan Express. Bus ticket is $22 round trip. Kids are free up to age 17. Parking is $7. per day.
