Need cheap motel near Old Town Jan. 14

Hi all. I'm a Disney veteran but we typically rent a home in Windsor Palms for our visits. I'm helping a relative who lives in Florida and wants to drive up to Orlando for a couple of days next month for the Corvette show at Old Town. He's looking for a cheap but clean and safe motel in the area for a couple of nights. He is single and very low maintenance. He isn't looking for anything fancy. He's more concerned with price. Something in the $50 range would be perfect if that exists without going too far from Old Town. A couple of miles tops. He'll have his car so getting around isn't a problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There are several right next to Old Town and the Fun Spot area that would fit this bill, but that area isn't super safe. I have stayed at the Parc Royale, rooms are clean and free breakfast and price for a single is likely approx $50 as we can generally get a 2 bedroom suite for @ $100. Also thought the Seralago was decent/clean and it is usually 40-60 per night.

I have stayed at the Seralago twice. Not a bad place for less than $50 per night.
It is right beside Old Town.
