We are going to WDW from Aug 27-Sep 1 and we are doing the MYW+D plan, and we want to do some character dining for our son. He loves Pooh so we want one that will feature him. Then only one for sure we are going to is Hollywood & Vine as he also really likes JoJo. He is not that into Mickey or any of the other classic charcters besides Pooh. We thought of Mickey's Backyard BBQ, but the heat, ho down music and taking 2 dinning plans I want to skip this one. We are not big breakfast people so we would prefer lunch or dinner - but will gladly do a breakfast, especially if it is worth it.

Pooh and friends are at CP. I believe (but am not 100% sure) that they're there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I know they're definitely there for breakfast. We don't do a lot if breakfasts in restaurants (prefer to eat in the room before heading to parks), but this is our favorite breakfast. The food and character interaction are great.

Definitely Crystal Palace for Pooh. Does he like Stitch ? 'Ohana at the Poly has a great character breakfast with Stitch, Lilo, Pluto and Mickey.

Have fun!

Another vote for CP. How about Chip and Dale? The lunch/dinner at the Garden Grill is supposed to be really good-doing it next time!:woohoo:

yes, crystal palace is pooh all day long - usually pooh, eeyore, tigger and piglet. all except piglet are regularly accessible in the parks as well.

the real concern should be how he'll react to the characters. seeing them on tv is not the same as seeing them in real life. i would not recommend scheduling any character meals until after you can see how he responds to the characters in person, that way you can cancel if need be.

as odd as it may sound, you may also want to consider a princess meal, or perhaps even a hybrid in way of the mary poppins breakfast at 1900 park fare (or the grand floridian cafe at that time? don't recall the dates exactly). face characters can be easy to deal with and princesses know how to handle young boys.
