We have been to chef mickeys and 1900 park fare. Have a ds5, ds4, dd3, and ds1 going. I'm kinda burnt out on mickeys been there 4 times so far, but we are staying at the BLT so we can walk. At 1900 the mad hater freaked out the 3 year old. Suggest away...

We really like the food and character interaction at crystal palace in MK. This was our favorite buffet at Disney that we tried.

Ohana breakfast with Stitich I bet your kids would love it. Food was good & it was nice to have family style. Juice Great. And the interaction with the characters was a blast.

Askerhus in Norway.
character breakfast...princesses...should be perfect.

We like the one at Poly for breakfast.

Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo and Stitch. Our Polynesian friends invite you to join Mickey and Pluto for autographs and pictures.
Our Island Feast is served "Family-Style" which means we bring it to you,
so sit back and relax. E oli oli!

The food is good and the characters are also. They do a parade around the restaurant during your meal that anyone can join in on.

Maybe some pictures will help you decide....

Hot platter (after we took some scrambled eggs. Some of the best scrambled eggs we've had.)

And not shown, POG juice, really good!

With 3 boys it won't be too girly for them!;)

Another vote here for Crystal Palace. It's a change from Chef Mickey's, and it suits the ages of your children.

I second 'Ohana with Lilo and Stitch. Food is tasty and brought family-style to the table so it's more civilized with fewer people and kids wandering around. Every half hour or so, Mickey leads the kids in a cute parade around the room.

The characters aren't too scary -- in addition to Mickey, Lilo and Stitch, as I recall, we had Minnie(?), and Pluto. Even Stitch was well behaved and very gentle with the kids.

We used to book a breakfast around 10:30 a.m. or so. There was lots of character interaction. After trying several character meals, we liked 'Ohana best and stuck with that one for the rest of the character meal years.

The boys are 15 now, so no more character meals. I know, some people like the character meals for all ages, but we're trying new things now. We're actually taking them to Bistro de Paris this year!

Our favorite character meal is Tusker House in AK. The food is excellent and the characters (Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Daisy) are great in safari outfits. You can meet Donald outside but he doesn't come around to the tables anymore. It is the only character meal we have scheduled for Aug. :)

Since you said you are burnt out on Mickey, I would suggest you make a date with Winnie the Pooh and his friends. Go to the Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom. It is, imo, the best breakfast buffet on property. The food is really good and the character interaction is fun.

We were die-hard Crystal Palace eaters. Our last trip it was being refurbed so we tried the Tusker House. Holy Cow! It was so great. If it's an MK day, I'd still eat at CP, but we might make more effort to get to AK now that we discovered Tusker House. We don't get to AK on every trip, but it was really good. (Maybe we were burnt out on Pooh and CP....)

CP is great. You are already in the MK, so no traveling when you're done your meal, and the Pooh characters may be great for your little ones. We did an early ADR last trip, so we entered the park before it was opened; it was awesome to walk down an empty Main St!:thumbsup2 The one downfall to CP is that it is a buffett, so with that many kids so little :scared:, you or your spouse may spend the whole meal carrying plates to the table.

Ohana is a great character meal also; the food and interaction are wonderful. This is served family style so you don't have to get up from the table. Personally I like family style with little ones.

Another character meal that your little ones may enjoy is Little Einsteins at Hollywood and Vine in DHS. The food was ok, and it was a buffett, but it wasn't crowded when we were there and my kids loved the Little Einsteins.

Good luck!:goodvibes

There's also 1900 Park Fare for the Supercalfragalistic breakfast. With Mary Poppins, Alice, and The Madhatter.

We love Ohana, Crystal Palace, & Cape May Cafe. I let the kids decide which characters they want to see. We sometimes do Ohana or Cape May for breakfast & Crystal Palace for lunch

we went in may to Tusker house breakfast with great food and characters too......and even though our grandson was almost 6 and our granddaughter was just 4 we went to the Norway Princess breakfast.....our grandson had a grand time and the food was by far the best we have had...Crystal Palace is also another good choice......
I need another vacation......
Have fun with whatever you choose

We love Tuskar House in AK and Crystal Palace in the MK. Both for Breakfast. Not wild about CP for dinner and Tuskar House isn't a chaacter meal after breakfast. Plus if you can get in early at TH before the park opens around 8 or so, by the time your done AK is open and you are like 30 seconds from the Safari ride and can usually get on quick. The characters at TH seem to make rounds a it faster than cp.

you have already heard all the bfast places I would suggest lol but as for the food I would vote for crystal palace. Have fun

Another vote for CP pooh: DH and I go there every trip. The buffet had a good selection and the food has always been very good:lmao:. We get an ADR before MK opens and it is great to walk down an almost empty Main Street. We got a Photopass shot of us on Main Street with hardly anyone in the background:woohoo:
