Hi,
I'm one of those people who has to eat breakfast and there isn't much discussion other than character breakfasts. I'll do one buffet breakfast but would like to have something fairly quick and healthy each morning (no cinnamon rolls--as much as I like them). I'm trying to make my choices flexible so that breakfast does not necessarily have to be at my resort. For example, if I choose to go to AK early one day, where would I eat breakfast at while I'm there? I'll be staying at the BC only for 3 days of breakfast but would like more choices.

So far I have on my list:

Cape May (for my big buffet day)
BC Marketplace
Kona Kafe
Main Street Bakery at MK (I think that's what it's called)

What about MGM, AK, and EPCOT? Is that Sunshine place in the Land open for breakfast?

For you AK day I would consider the buffet at Boma in the AKL or the Tusker House counter service inside AK. They are both great and I try to hit them both on each trip!

Thank you for your help.

I just went to allearsnet.com which I had forgotten about and found alot of restaurants that fit what I need. I noticed Tusker house too and that's exactly what I'm looking for. I need a little protein in the morning so sugar and fruit just doesn't cut it.

Now I'm really hungry after reading those menus!

I like breakfast at Spoodles (Boardwalk) and Whispering Canyon (Wilderness Lodge). Counter service breakfasts at the parks are nothing great. I'd rather tide myself over with a granola bar and eat an early lunch.

OK, if you REALLY want breakfast food in a theme park - the breakfast at the Electric Umbrella wasn't bad: http://allearsnet.com/menu/menu_eu.htm

A vote for Spoodles (Boardwalk) .

Something to consider...I saw your post about Everest. You could try breakfast at Breakfastasourus in AK. If you do an 8 o'clock seating, you will be done just in time for the 9 am rope drop at Dinoland. This is what we did for this weekend's preview and it worked GREAT. We had ridden once and had a fast pass in hand for another ride by about six minutes after nine.

Also, although DH said the eggs were gross, there was plenty of other food there which I thought was great!

Enjoy!

Chef Mickeys is amazing( I love buffets)
Boma is fantatic(especially frunch)

Anywhere in general for me is good. Normally we eat at our food court. Unless we decide to step out of the box than we go for Kona.

I had no idea that Spoodles served breakfast. I've checked this out on Deb Wills sight also now. Thanks also for the tip of Breakfastosaurus. I'll check into that too.
This trip will be solo for me so it's the first time I'm paying attention to breakfast. When the kids and hubby go, they're happy with just a cinnamon roll and some juice.

We enjoyed breakfast at Spoodles. Also, the Boardwalk Bakery has a very good breakfast wrap they make fresh when your order.

I also didn't realize that Yacht Club Galley has a breakfast buffet without the characters. This makes it a little cheaper and I can use my DDE there!
Also thanks for tip on the breakfast wrap at Boardwalk Bakery.
I'm really looking forward to this trip. Normally I'm awake for about 2 hours waiting for the family to get up.
Now I can get myself up and leave early to get some real breakfast food then be on my way.

I really enjoy my solo trips to WDW, although I'm looking forward to my March trip with my 15-year-old son.

I just made a reservation for lunch at the Yacht Club Galley, after seeing recommendations here and checking the menu at AllEarsNet. :) I'll also be trying Kona Cafe for the first time for breakfast.
