Need Birthday Dinner suggestions...

Our DD will be turning 9 while we're at the World. The morning of her birthday we are having breakfast at CRT but I would like for her to have a cake and have Happy Birthday sung to her.... I need some suggestions on where to go for dinner. I'd like to do one of the resort restaurants but I'm not sure which one. It doesn't necessarily have to be a Character experience, I just want it to be a great birthday dinner and overall good experience for her.


I was thinking of Ohana's but I've never been there so I'm not sure if she would like it.
Maybe Chef Mickey's but I read some reviews recently that said it was bad.


Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Your going to read good reviews and bad reviews of each restaurant at Disney. The best advice I can give you is just to try whatever place you want to eat at yourself.
If your dd doesnt like whats on the menu at Ohana they let the kids order from Kona. Mine had mac 'n cheese when we ate at Ohana. The coconut races are fun, the kids get to hula hoop and mine learned a Hawaiin dance. they had a blast at Ohana.
They also like Chef Mickey (not my favorite food wise, but the rest of my family likes it). Lots of fun with the characters and twirling napkins.
Either place is a great spot for a birthday party.
