Hi all,
I am looking for ideas or suggestions on where to have DS (just turned 4) sleep. We are DVC members and usually book a 1BR. Our next trip will be in a 1BR at VWL. In the past, we had a crib, and for the past trip or two beyond the crib , we brought a Readybed inflatable travel bed (a toddler sized blow up mattress basically). We don't have DS sleep on the foldout sofa bed since DH and I like to stay up for a while after DS goes to bed. DS won't sleep in our bed either. We weren't thrilled with the Readybed, but I don't think I want to invest in more of the same type of thing. The problem is is that DS sleeps all over the bed at home and we rely on bedrails to keep him in check. When he is on the smaller readybed at Disney, it is only a matter of time until he ends up on the floor. We do spread an extra blanket or two around his bed, but he still doesn't sleep well and I am constantly up throughout the night adjusting him in his bed.
I am under the impression that Disney doesn't have portable beds or cots, is that correct? Has anybody ever used Disney's bedrails? Could I place them under his readybed--would they stay secure? Do you have any other ideas?
Thanks!
