Need availability Dec 2nd! PLEASE ADVISE!!!

We have the CR Tower booked for Nov 29- Dec 2, and the GF 1 BD Suite booked Dec 3-6. You'll notice there is a day missing in there- YIKES!!!! Currently, there is no availability at the CR (any rooms) on Dec 2 or the Suite at the GF. We've booked the GF LV for a back up, but that would mean we'll switch rooms 3 times. Really want the CR Tower for the 1st 4 days and leave the GF Suite for the last 3.

So, how long can I safely wait and keep checking for something to open up? The Poly has availability for Nov 29- Dec 3, and I'm wondering if I should just switch the CR to the Poly?

What would be the latest you would wait before making the move? Really wanted the CR Tower for the kids, but I don't want to get shut out of a room!

CR tower was my first choice too but a convention has the ENTIRE thing booked for our entire week. My TA checked day by day b/c we were willing to adjust dates or split a stay but we couldn't even get a single night there. I am wondering if as we get closer they will have to release some of their rooms if they aren't full. At least I'm hoping to get a few nights there. We're at POR for 3 nights and the Poly for 5 nights right now and we're hoping to do 4 and 4 at CR and Poly.

When my husband had a convention at Disney we had to book our rooms by 45 days before in order to guarantee availability from what they had held. After that it was rack rates booking with Disney. So I plan on checking myself (and having my TA check!) for availability often starting in October.

I would go ahead with the Poly, that way you know you are all set and won't have to worry. You can always keep calling back and see about the other resort. But it sounds like a convention is going on there. You probably will be happier at the Policy where the crowd is not.

I just put a courtesy hold on the Poly GVC for 2 rooms for Nov 29- Dec 3. Then we could switch over to the GF Concierge. I have until 6/27 to make a deposit. I'll keep looking for a CR tower room until then, but if I can't find one may just switch it over to the Poly. I really, really, really want the CR Tower though!
