Need another TS choice!

We've been to WDW 12 times (I think) since 2000, but for our upcoming April trip I am having trouble choosing something for our last TS choice (we are going to get the regular DDP--not deluxe, OMG how can people eat that much food!) It is me, DH, DD (will be 17 the day after we get back) and DS (13 1/2, bottomless pit).
This is what we have so far:
first day: check into BLT--time at MK-dinner at Ohana.
day 2: MK day--no TS chosen
day 3: Epcot--eating in France
day 4: transfer from BLT to AKL. May just have a "pool time" day or go to DD. Eat at Boma.
day 5: DHS--eat at Mama Melrose
day 6: typhoon lagoon and then later dinner at Narcoosees (this has become our Easter Sunday tradition). Maybe MK after dinner since it is usually open until at least 1AM
day 7: AK--no TS chosen
day 8: we have to be on the bus at 3PM to leave so we may have some park time, not sure which one.

As you can see we have 5 TS restaurants chosen, and narcoosees is 2 credits so we have one left. Our days open are our MK day and our AK day. There is really nowhere in MK we have not eaten already, or that DH wants to go to again. We could conceivably eat at one of the monorail resorts or WL, although Chef Mickey's is out--our oldest can't come this time(college break is different) and DH doesn't want one of the CM photos without the whole family.
On our AK day we never really stay there the whole day. It will be very easy to be back to AKL by 2. I thought maybe we could book a DD restaurant. I really liked Raglan Road. Or, we could get an AK bus to another resort? We can't do other park restaurants because we don't pay the extra for hoppers.
Any suggestions welcome.

I'm assuming you are going in 2012 and Raglan Road is not on the DDP as of now. It might join, though!

What about Whispering Canyon on either of your free days? I guess it really depends if your family will like the antics.

If you are a DVC member why not grab dinner at the Top of the World lounge on Day 2 while you are staying at BLT? The flatbreads could easily be a meal.

Option 1 - the MK day. Dinner at CP or 1900PF. Just because you're not going to CMs doesn't mean you should forego all character dining. Alternatively, go from MK to POR, eat at Boatwrights, and then step into the River Roost next door for Bob Jackson's show.

Opton 2 - the AK day. You've only been to Epcot once, so how about a second dinner there at Biergarten and a little more time playing there? Even older kids and adults can enjoy a Kim Possible mission after dinner, or playing games after the rides at Mission Space or Spaceship Earth. Alternatively, Cape May for dinner and then either on to Epcot or backtrack to DHS for F! or a final try at TSMM (the stand-by time is often MUCH shorter than the posted wait late in the evening).

In honor of the bottomless-pit DS, all these are buffet options. Bet HE would be happy with the DxDP, too!

Does Raglan Road normally add the DDP closer to the end of the year? I know we used it before.
I also like the 1900 PF idea for our MK day.
We can't go to the other parks on our AK day because we don't hop. Not worth $200 to have the hopping option for us at this point.

Maybe for your AK day you could eat at Sanaa or MK day Grand Floridian Cafe. Those are two options people don't consider much but we have found them to be very yummy. Have fun celebrating Easter in WDW.

How do you feel about character meals? Personally I don't think you ever out grow them and try to schedule one each trip:goodvibes

Having said that I would try Tusker House on your AK day. I've heard great things about breakfast and lunch:thumbsup2 Since it's a buffet your bottomless pit DS should be happy and you can get great pics with Donald and friends!

Yes, Raglan Road normally adds at the end of the year. This is true of many, if not all, of the non-Disney owned restaurants. They renew their contracts at the end of the year. Often their inclusion is not confirmed until January.
In the history of the DDP only one restaurant, Fulton's, has not renewed their contract.

We always have bkfst at Crystal Palace on our first MK day! We also ate at Ragland Road in Aug for the first time and really enjoyed it, good food and fun atmosphere!

I would definitely head to DTD for a bit of shopping and Raglan Road. We really love it. The best choice of meals of any WDW restaurant.

We are heading to Kona on our MK day. And on our AK day we are having lunch at Y & Y (first time!)

We are also eating at RR one evening.

We've always wanted to try GFC on an MK day...(we don't pay for hoppers either, so I make my dinner plans based on our park of choice too!)

Let us know what you decide.
