I'd prefer something with "character" but open to other suggestions. We don't have to be at the airport till around 1pm on our last day so I thought maybe we could squeeze in our last disney meal at breakfast. BUT our park tickets are only 7 days and this is our 8th day so we can't go to any of the parks.

Is there a good resort breakfast that we may still get PS's for?? As you can see from my ticker, we have less than 50 days till we go. Any ideas?? My kids are 2 and 5 so would love a character meal, but I'll take what I can get at this point.

Just was asked in another thread try the buffet at Cape May in the beach club or you may want to try Spoodls at the BW , Whispering Canions at the WL can't go wrong with any of them :jumping1:

I am in the same situation as you in regards to when we have to be at the airport, about 1:30 and have a 2 and 5 year old as well. I made a 10 am PS at Chef Mickey's the day we leave. I thought it would be a nice way to end our trip and say so long to Mickey until next time. :flower1:

Thanks, I'm assuming none of those are character meals?? (except chef mickey, which we have a dinner PS for already).

Cape May Cafe is a Character Meal for Breakfast
1900 Park Fare at the GF for Breakfast
Ohana at the Polynesian for Breakfast
Garden Grove at the Swan for Breakfast

Hi, I am arriving on May 18th and just called for PSs this morning, got everything I wanted at the times I wanted so panic about that yet!

We did Chef Mickey's as our send-off in December and we liked it, food was okay but the character interaction was good.

I haven't done Cape May but it's the same characters and you can walk off breakfast while exploring the beautiful Boardwalk.

Ohanas at the Poly is another good character meal and a great resort to poke around in after ...

Our send-off this trip is at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. It's a batch of characters we've never eaten with - Alice, Pinocchio, Mad Hatter, etc. so we're excited about it.

Good non-character resort breakfasts: Spoodles on the Boardwalk, Whispering Canyon at WL and Kona Cafe at the Poly.

ETA: How could I forget my favorite breakfast in all of WDW?!? Boma! Boma! Boma! I was concentrating on character meals ...
Have fun deciding!

whispering canyons at the WL may not have the disney characters but the waiters can put on a heck of a show the kids are sure to love it :cool1:

I recommend Cape May, Goofy's Beach Party (Goofy, Minnie, Chip and Dale), food is very good and the characters were great. We did this in Jan and even had time for a last boat ride before leaving for the airport. Have fun!

for brkfst in Aug Im planning on:

Chef Mickey's day we check into Wilderness Lodge
Whispering Canyon
Cape May char brkfst day we check into Beach Club Villas
Spoodles
Kona

I highly recommend Cape May Cafe....I think we have done almost all of the character meals now and this is our favorite!!

hi, I would rec. Boma In the AKL. On our last day in 2003 we visited Boma and our kids DD 7 and DS 12 loved the food and the view of the AKL. we walked around the AKL and were able to see the Animales and the resort as well as enjoy the food , we will do this again this summer

Hope this helps :mickeybar :mickeybar

Are you using MYW tickets? Disney recently began selling 8 and 9 day passes. There is only like $4 difference between them. It might be worth the small upgrade for a few extra park hours.

I would agree that Cape May character breakfast would be a great choice for your family. We like it much more than Chef Mickey's cause it is not so hectic and loud.

if you decided to not to a character meal, then the buffet at Boma at AKL woud be good. You could have fun checking out the animals after you eat. Beware of "we HAVE to stay here next time" syndrome!:)

'Ohana character meal! The food is standard but good, and it isn't too crowded and the character interaction (which includes Mickey) is wonderful. Then the little ones can go down to the Poly beach and play in the sand. The Poly also has nice shopping for those last minute souvenier purchases (have the shop mail it to your house for a nice reminder of Disney a few days after you get back home).

Our favorites are:
Kona Cafe
Spoodle's
Fresh
Yacht Club Galley
Boatwright's

Plus, we always make a stop or two at the Boardwalk Bakery! :sunny:
