Need an answer about a slug in my living room QUICK!!!!

This might be a bad thing. My parents had this in their house a couple of years ago and it was because, after about 15 years, their "new (when they built it) home shifted in some way where slugs were able to come in. My mother's like you (and me) and they horrified her.

YUCK!

I found a worm in the middle of our living room in our old house once.

Yuck to that, too!

Slugs do not have any more germs than humans do. They do not harbor disease and in some cultures are considered a delicacy.


A delicacy?

Yep - in France for a start (well, in snail form rather than slug form), along wth frogs.

I'm in wet wet Britain, so I see slugs and snails all the time. I was quite shocked that some people here haven't!

It's quite annoying actually because an area of my running route is surrounded by thick grass, and when it's hot and dry there are little spiders and crawlies jumping around everywhere, but when it rains the worms and slugs and snails come out to play. It's like an obstacle course!
