Help please! I have lots of DW knowledge and ZERO DL knowledge! I will be going to DL for two days during April 16-21. Not sure of days yet, we are going with my daughters HS Orchestra. What can we expect for crowds during this time and is there any good touring plans for two days in the park? I am feeling overwhelmed and want to make the most if my time!

You will be here during Spring Breaks, but with Easter April 5, it shouldn't be too bad.

The parks are close together. It doesn't need nearly the planning WDW needs. We go with the flow. Is your daughter playing at DL?

I would highly recommend taking a look at HydroGuys's DLR Guide for WDW Vets. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1162599

In terms of touring plans, there are a few, but with the parks being so close together (110 yards), it isn't as critical to have a pre-decided plan. I would look at the rides and figure out which ones you want to do and then go from there.

Well right off I can say that you will be able to avoid the Easter week attendance. As a general rule, the week before and the week after Easter is good to avoid.
Next year Easter is on April 5.
There will of course be spring breakers to contend with, but it's not normally unbearable. Fridays and Saturdays may normally be a madhouse, so be prepared.
Take advantage of fast passes, single rider line, extra magic hour and magic morning if applicable.
Don't push yourself. Make a mental list of what you are most interested in doing then adjust/readjust accordingly.
If the parks become too crowded for you, take a break during the afternoon, then return during the evening if your interested and your schedule allows it.

We're going for the 1st time this summer also. We know WDW inside and out, but have no experience with DL. I've read HydroGuy's guide from top to bottom and it's a wealth of information for us first timers.

The thing I'm most excited about is being able to use the original FP system again! :)

Thank you! Yes she is playing on stage there. Would not miss it for anything!
