I am not a drinker (maybe an occasional fruity frozen drink on a cruise but that's about it) LOL

I am hosting 2 showers and need a gift idea for a raffle.

I remember YEARS ago, we went to my husbands Christmas work party and there were basket raffles there. I remember this one gift that was a 3-4 pack of what I would call "mixers". (like I said, I don't drink, so I really have no clue what they actually were). Anyhow, I remember it was like a pina colatta, daquari and another drink mix that was all packaged together. I assumed you just added alcohol when you were ready to drink them.

I've been to the liquor store maybe 2-3 times over this past year for other basket raffle ideas and have no come across anything like this. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Are the showers adult only? If so, I'd include some alcohol with the mixers, as the mixers are probably going to be pretty cheap.

A Moscow Mule basket would be good -bottle of vodka, 4 or 6 pk of Ginger Beer maybe some copper mugs, and a lime. Mimosa/Bellini basket bottle of champagne and juice- orange or peach nectar and glasses form the dollar store.

OoOooO, I like this!

An Old Fashioned basket: Bottle of bourbon or rye, Angostura bitters (and orange bitters if you want to get fancy), an orange, and either simple syrup or sugar cubes.

A G&T basket: A bottle of London dry gin, tonic (not club soda or seltzer!), and a lime.

A martini basket: Gin or Vodka, dry vermouth, and olives (or a lemon).

With or without appropriate glassware.

Have you tried the Fevertree Elderflower Tonic with a Dry gin? summer in a glass.
Yep, I have some Fevertree in the house. Currently no London dry gin, but I have Aviation, which is an American style gin. I've learned I prefer London dry, at least with tonic. My go-to is Tanqueray.

Margarita basket. A couple of glasses, you can get nice glass ones at the dollar store. A thing of salt, tequila and the mix. Or glasses and the bottle that already has the tequila in it with some salt. I gave all the day care teachers bottles of the strawberry margaritas one year for teacher appreciation week. No shame. If my 2 kids make me wanna drink I can only imagine 20 of them

Personally I'd just be interested in the alcohol as-is. I prefer to make cocktails from scratch instead of using mixes
I agree, most of that mixer stuff is all sugar, corn syrup, and god only knows what (it's nasty.) I'd get an assortment of the little airplane bottles of booze, there is a huge variety of them. There are also a number of novelty items sold at liquor stores, often by the checkout area. You'll find shots of liqueur and some other fun stuff. You could throw in some lemon, lime, cocktail olives, stir sticks, etc.

Don’t know if you belong to Sam’s Club or not but I was just there a couple days ago and they had several alcoholic drink package ideas.

You can tell you’re not a drinker by the way spell colatta. Don’t worry, it’s not a good thing if you can rattle off cocktails the way I can 😕.
I think this is out of your wheel house and you should do a different basket unless you are obligated. If you are then:

Look up recipes for 2-3 cocktails. Put the ingredients into the basket including garnish (jar of cherries etc). Hand write the recipes on a card.

If the showers include those under 21, I think a better choice would be a basket of mixed chocolates or various types of products made locally. Our grocery store has a section of locally made items which could make for a fun gift as well. Some stores also sell premade small baskets of items. Also if you don't know everyone in the group drinks alcohol, those types of items would have wider appeal.

For a shower, I'd actually go a "sangria" route - same idea, but buy some beautiful fruits held in a pitcher and a midrange bottle of wine ideal for sangria making...that way, folks who don't drink can actually use all the parts b/c wines are useable in cooking and fruits are just great as is...so it works for everyone...
