We will be heading to WDW for our wedding/honeymoon and have already made our ADR's but are now wanting to add a breakfast to the agenda. Tell me, where the heck should we go one morning? We dont want buffet, and since we are traveling with out our 1 year old, we perfer no character breakfast!
Thank you thank you! Also, what time would be a good time for breakfast? If we did something that was in the park do we get into the park early?

Considering your stipulations and parameters, Kona Cafe at the Polynesian is the obvious choice, and I'm sure plenty of people will pop by soon to write in-depth reviews of the Big Kahuna and Tonga Toast. Instead, I'll recommend a relatively unheralded breakfast spot: Kouzzina on the BoardWalk.

The menu includes all the staples, like French toast, Belgian waffles and omelettes, but it also has some delicious, creative options. The turkey-sweet potato hash is outstanding, as are the blueberry-orange pancakes. The vegetable flatbread is another delicious dish.

How about the Grand Floridian Cafe? Get there early, and its just a quick monorail ride to MK when your done. Have a great trip!!!

I think the TS breakfasts in the parks would all be characters and buffets. :confused:I may be wrong. If we are going to EPCOT or the Studios we go to Capts Grille at YC. It is a buffet but you can order off the menu too. I always get an omelette. If you plan on going to MK Kona or Grand Floridian Cafe are a good choice. Rainforest has a pretty good breakfast if it is a AK day. Kinda loud for us in the AM but.........we like it.

We enjoy the Whispering Canyon Cafe It is family style not buffet and the waiterstaff VERY good food!

We had breakfast at Kouzzina this week. Best breakfast I have ever had on Disney property- even beats my previous favorite which was Tonga Toast @ Kona. If you can get to the Boardwalk without too much trouble, I would definitely have breakfast @ Kouzzina.

This! :thumbsup2

We like as little fuss in the mornings as possible so we just eat in our room. If we were staying at the Poly I would stick with Kona and try for a 7:45 reservation.

Congratulations, btw.

:)

I highly suggest the Kona as well. It is the best breakfast I have had in Disney. It is a must do for us....

Another vote for the Grand Floridian cafe and the Kona cafe. We had breakfast at both on our hneymoon and loved them.

Kouzzina!! We LOVE it here for breakfast.

If you prefer to stay a monorail resort for breakfast, I'd go with Grand Floridian Cafe. I think it's so pretty there!

As for what time to make it, since both are outside of the parks, if you wanted to make rope drop, I would have breakfast at least an hour before the park opens. Kouzzina is a 5 minute walk to Epcot, and a 15 minute walk to DHS. GF Cafe a few minute monorail ride if you don't have to wait for the monorail.

Kona and Kouzzina are both great options for breakfast.

I dragged my dad and my daughters to Kona from POP on our Epcot day (so it wasn't exactly convenient, but it was the only time I could fit it in!) just because I wanted to try the Tonga Toast.

It was worth the trip as far as I'm concerned. I've made it at home three times in the week since...DD #1 tried mine at the restaurant and also fell in love. Not quite as good as at Kona, but an acceptable substitute until I can get back there!

We did an early breakfast at Tusker House (character buffet, so probably out for you) but we were allowed in AK early, if that helps. Have an amazing honeymoon!!! :goodvibes

Definitely Kona. It was one of my favorite meals the entire time we were there. :) The pineapple macadamia nut pancakes were to die for! YUM!

I also vote for Kona at the polynesian. Tonga Toast is TO DIE FOR. So good. I havent tried GF cafe or Kouzzina, but im sure those are also great choices. It depends what atmosphere appeals to you most and the location is important as well.

GFC at the GF was awesome! The food was excellent, the place was pretty much empty and we sat at the far back of the restaurant and had a view of the monorail going by MK
