Need advice - trouble purchasing

OK think my guide is lame! My husband went and viewed DVC when he was down there for a conference (and I was home with the 3yr old and a 2 WEEK old!)
Funny thing my husband was adament about wanting BWV until he saw AKL...HA.

Anyway deposited and came home, contrat arrived. We had some questions about dividing the contract. He said we could. I told him I would call him back the next day. I did asking to send the revised contract and we had one outstanding issue (about my credit score - came back as 0! Clearly a clerical error) Anyway he has not called us back. We have called 2x over the course of 3 days...and heard nothing. I don't want the current incentives to expire.

What shoudl I do?? Hang tight? His message does not say he's out.
 
I would call and ask if I could speak to a manager if you can not get him to respond. Good Luck!

We had a experience like this when we did an add-on. Some guides are great at calling back others not so much--- our guides tells us they sometimes get quite busy and even she occassionly works from home so messages can be slowed down. I bet your guide has gotten your message and is working on the new contract and will call you back when it's ready--- For the life of me I don't why some people can't call you back and just tell you that.
If you can't take the waiting and you get your guides message again call back the main DVC number and ask if your guide is in today and tell them you left several messages in several days and no return. Then ask if you can speak with another guide to get some questions answered-- it has been my experience that they usually help eachother out.

We had the same thing happen with our last add-on (AKV). After days and days of leaving phone messages telling him exactly how many points we wanted, I put in a post on these boards mentioning that my DH had made an arbitrary deadline of 3pm (IIRC) before he was calling the DVC office directly for another guide. :furious: Well, at 2:45 our guide called! :confused3 I also wonder if there's a connection between these boards and the sales office. :rolleyes1

I guess this last add-on was an improvement in his service since with our second add-on (on-site during a 10-day trip) he couldn't manage to find the time to meet us; so we had to buy with a substitute guide. :mad:

Does it qualify as a record to only speak with your guide twice in 10 years (and one of those was the initial purchase face-to-face)? :laughing:
 
Our guide was GREAT until we bought through re-sale and took our name off a waiting list for BCV with him. Hasnt called me back since:sad:

I think he feels jilted.

I wonder...is going through resale like cheating on your guide:rotfl2:
