Need advice/suggestions for t-shirt I'm making

I'm using a Tink design that has pixie dust scattered around her. I'd like to put some sparkle to that pixie dust but I want to use something that will hold up when the shirt is washed. I had thought of using fabric glue then sprinkling with glitter but not so sure the glitter would last. These will be worn by adults only. Any ideas?? Thanks for any help you can offer!

There is fabric glue/paint that already has sparkles in it - I have used that before and it holds up in the wash pretty well -

I have used that sparkle fabric paint in the past for xmas ornaments....

It worked great.

I got mine at Michaels...but I bet AC Moore sells also....not sure about Walmart....

Yes they do. I work in fabrics and crafts. Ask for glittery fabric paint and they will show you where it is. It comes in different colors but I would suggest silver. There are two different tubes one is $.97 and one is $.76. I would suggest the $.97 one because it seems to work better.

So glad to hear WM carries the glittery fabric paint. I'll try there first since I have a store just a few minutes away. The craft supply stores are further...about 30 miles.

I have to tell this because it is the strangest thing. I was adding our nicknames to the shirt design last night & was putting one of them in quotation marks. I hit something on the keyboard & a tiny mickey head appeared next to a name. (It's the one with just the round circles for the head & ears.) What's so strange is that I have never used a mickey head like that in a design so it was nowhere on my hard drive to have brought it up. It showed up out of the blue & when I saw it, I just sat there staring at it wondering how it got there. I am absolutely baffled as to how this happened...totally, completely bumfoozled! Now, you all probably think I'm crazy, right??!!

The neat thing is that tiny mickey head adds a nice touch I hadn't thought of so I'm going to put one of them next to each nickname. Hey, maybe Mickey is psychic!
