I am writing a letter to my guests about secrets and tips of Disneyworld. I am wondering if you all have any hints to save time and money along with fun facts. I already have some ideas like start your day at MK in Adventure land and buy the refillable mugs at your resorts. Any other ideas?

My biggest tip is to get there at park opening. You get so much more done if you get there early!

You might want to mention booking advanced reservations...I know that people "not in the know" think they can walk up and be served. Very frustrating to find that out after you are already there.

iM currently going thru the "secrets" thread over at the theme park board....its over 170pgs back from 2003, but it has links, tips, secrets, all sorts of stuff......good resource:thumbsup2

myprincessgirlisa, can you post the link to that thread? The search function doesn't work very well for me these days, and that's a great tip...on where to find tips. lol!

For character meals, book the last seating possible when making ADRs, that way you can spend more time w/ the characters.

For counter service meals, I usually order a kids meal. It's way cheaper and always plenty of food.

I also completely agree w/ Thumper's Tara, get there at park opening! We like to do this, then go back and nap at the hotel or pool in the afternoon and head to a different park at night.

Make sure your guests know about Fastpass. We always grab a FP for our favorite/ most popular ride as soon as we get into the park.

I do not know if I should post this or not... but I'm going to anyway ;) We like having a big breakfast and often do buffets. We always take an apple, banana, or orange with us from the buffet for a snack for later. That way we don't have to spend $ later.

Good luck :) I am sure so many others have great tips!

I would say one of our biggest tips is to bring your fav snack and bring them with you in the park. Oh and bring your own water bottles.
