Need advice...Photographer in San Diego

We're (me, husband, daughter who is 7, and son who is 4) traveling to San Diego and Disneyland July 27-August 7th. I'm hoping to have some family pictures taken on a beach in the Carlsbad/San Diego area while we're there. I've started searching for someone but am overwhelmed by how many photographers there are out there. We only get one shot at this so I'm hoping to pick the perfect person.

Does anyone have suggestions of how to look? Know of someone?

I need to hire someone who would be willing to email us the pictures or cd because I don't want to order prints and then have them shipped to Canada.

I know a lot of photographers in San Diego. Really good ones too.

It's all about budget though. Most of them do sell the disc, but it is a premium. Let me know what you are looking for and I can definite send you some recommendations of superior family photogs.

I think we're looking for some photos on the beach--Coronado maybe? Or a beach while we're in Carlsbad? Or elsewhere!

I mostly want pictures of our kids and then a few of my husband and I, and a few of all 4 of us.

As far as budget, I guess it depends on what we're getting in the end. I'm thinking less than a $1000, considering we're spending a fortune already on the trip. I'd rather stick to around $500 to be honest, but I don't know if that's going to happen.

I'm even willing to just pay a student or amateur if they are willing to play.
