I don't know DW's resorts as well as all of you experats and I'd like to know your opinions on where to stay. We will be only 1 night (then transferring to Bay Lake Towers) and if we can get on property, that would be great :thumbsup2 Here are the properties we find availability for and they're all within $10 of each other:

Pop Century
All-Star Sports
All Star Movies
Coronado Springs
Port Orleans French Quarter
Carribean Beach
Port Orleans Riverside
WDW Dolphin

We would need 2 rooms for 4 adults no kids

Thanks for the help!

From your list, I'd vote Port Orleans. I've always stayed at Riverside just because I felt like I was closer to things, but the French Quarter is very pretty and seems quieter in comparison.

Actually, with the deluxes I've stayed at by buying points from my sister (who is a Florida resident and DVC owner), Port Orleans is still my favorite resort.

If they are all close in price and it's adults-only, my vote is definitely for the Dolphin for a couple of reasons. First off, it's a deluxe hotel that's right in the heart of the Epcot Resort area. Many things to do within walking distance - great restaurants, Jellyrolls, ESPN, etc. And it has a great pool and mini-golf is right across the street.

Enjoy!!! :goodvibes

Agree with Dolphin - unless being at a WDW hotel is important to you. It is a non-Disney hotel so does not offer all the perks of staying at a WDW hotel.

I have stayed there, however, and it was great. The location can't be beat.

If you wanted a WDW-owned hotel, I'd go with POR from your list. They have a boat directly to DTD which is very nice.
