I'm so excited for you!!!!:cool1:
Visit the boards often with ask any and all questions. I like to plan Park days depending on parades/fireworks/extended late-night park hrs and where I might want to make a priority restaurant reservatons. There's so much to think about, I'll just offer one bit of advice right now. Go to your local library and check our the latest edition book of WDW you can. (Or you could buy one)
I'm so happy for your family:lovestruc:laughing::banana: You'll have a wonderful time!!

I'd look at something like the Unofficial Guide to WDW (book). They have touring plans that are great for the more crowded times. They have a corresponding web site with crowd estimates, too. They have theories on why certain parks are better on certain days, the best parks for certain days, and parks to avoid on certain days. The web site is pay, but you can get a discount through allears.net.

I've just found that having a strategy is the best way to see the most with the least frustration.

I haven't used it, but people also seem to like tourguidemike.com, too.

With crowds, I think that the key is to have a plan, whichever method that you choose.

In all the WDW advice books I've used (quite a few) they all say that the weekends are brutal during the summer. You have all the locals who are there as well as the out-of-towners. They also suggest making sure that unless you are at the park for rope drop, DO NOT pick the park with the early magic hours, because that tends to be the most crowded of the day. Have a great time!
