Need advice on NATURAL prostrate cures

I have a friend who is having some problems with an enlarged prostrate. Does anyone know of any natural remedies that actually work? Know anyone that has seem results?

Suggestions please. Thank you. He has no insurance and can't afford to go on prescription drugs.

Is he sure he doesn't have prostate cancer?

More often than not it is due to an infection (it's not a lot different than when a woman gets a UTI) which, while not cancer, still needs actual pharmecuticals (antibiotics, routine ones that are not all that expensive). "Natural remedies" for something potentially serious doesn't sould like a good plan. A prostate infection can indeed lay one prostrate if you're not careful.

My dad had an issue a few years ago and I remember him using Saw Palmetto extract for prostate health. We were worried it may be cancer but it was just an infection as Galahad had mentioned. My uncle died of Prostate Cancer so it's probably best to get testing done at a Dr or Clinic if it's possible for your friend.

Hopefully it's just an infection. I am so sorry he is going through this. I would definitely try to see if he could get on some antibiotics, though.

My FIL was told by his doc that every guy, if he lives long enough and nothing else kills him first, would eventually get prostate cancer. I thought that was interesting.

This is absolutely true. But it's all very treatable and controllable if you act right away.

DH had issues with this about 6 or 7 years ago. I read about it and found the recommendation to take 160 mg of Saw Palmetto twice a day. He's been taking this religiously every since and has had no problems. I would highly recommend it!!
