Need advice on medical billing/coding!

I am thinking of going to school to be a medical biller/coder. Does anyone have any input on this type of career?? I have been doing the same job for 20 years and have been playing aroung with a change. I certainly can't go back to school for the next 4 years! Medical billing sort of sounds like something that would work for me. I would love to know if anyone does this type of work and can offer any advice. Does anyone have any info on salary or pay scale?? I know what the schools say, but come on! They tell you what you want to hear!!!!!
