Need advice on decorating the door

I thought I remembered a thread about people putting signs & stuff on their door but now my searches reveal nothing!!
Does anyone decorate their door with family info, etc? How do you do it? What do you do? Any advice would be helpful.

My grandkids and I went to Home Depot and got those color samples of the Mickey Mouse head to put on our doors. (3) I never thought about decorating before until I read a thread sometime back too, but it sure will make it easier to find our rooms, especially for our kids!!
