I am trying to book a flight for August from Boston to SFO and I am having a hard time with the price. The dates are somewhat flexable (around Aug 1 to Aug 15) but it needs to be a flight with no stops. I checked using Kayak and the cheapest price was $541 on Jett Blue. Are there other websites I can check for cheaper airfares? We fly at most once a year so I don't realy know where else to check besides kayak and travelocity. Any other websites to check would be helpfull.

Try Bing Farecast (Just google it). It's just like Kayak. What it does that Kayak doesn't though, is it will show you the trends for the flights on a graph and then make a recommendation on whether to buy now or wait. It analyzes the data and predicts if it will go up or down in price.
I saved a small fortune using it when we only had about 6 weeks to book a flight last year. It suggested I wait with 85 % odds that it would go down. I liked the percentage so I waited and the following Tuesday I saved a bundle over what I had almost paid.

It appears there are only four airlines that do BOS>SFO nonstop- United, Virgin America, JetBlue, and Continental. You may want to sign up for those airline's fare alerts (or "like" them on Facebook- often a way to find out about sales.)
