Need advice on AP

I booked our room at HRH using the APH code. I'm a non resident so I haven't bought the AP yet. I figured I should wait as long as I can so as to extend the life of the pass. I want to avoid having it ship since they charge $14. I will need to show my AP when I check in to get the reduced rate but don't want to go all the way over to the park to get it. Can I buy it there at the hotel? The online purchase says you can go to a Kiosk to pick it up but I think that's at the park.

I believe all you have to do to get the AP rate is to show it before you check out. You can purchase the APs online and pick them up at the Will Call kiosks outside the gates...you can not purchase at the hotels. Once you have the AP in hand, just stop by the front desk and have them apply the discount.

Thanks for the info. Do you know when your AP takes affect. Is it when you purchase it online or when you pick it up upon arrival? Is there any benefit to buying it online?

The AP does not take affect until you activate it at the gate. If you purchase online, you can elect to do electronic pickup and pick up the passes at the Will Call kiosks outside the gates. This will save you lots of time in line and all you need is the confirmation # and credit card you used to purchase. It's VERY easy to do.

I know that RPR has a kisok there in the lobby by the conerige desk. I am going to assume the toer hotels have one as well. You can also pick up your tickets right there, we did that last time when we purchased some for my brothers and their family. We just printed them off and left them in envelopes at the front desk.
