Ok, My family has decided to go on a cruise!!! Yeah....this will be a first for all of us. There will be 6 adults and 2 kids (ages 6 & 2). We want to go to WDW for at least 4 days and then the cruise. I have a couple of questions. Would it be better to book everything seperately? I thought maybe about renting DVC pts. to stay in a 2 BR villa and then booking the cruise w/ 3 staterooms. We have decided on Oct. 2006 and I would love for the Dining Plan to still be in effect. My hubby & I were there in May and used it and it was great!! Are the pts. listed yet for 2006 for DVC? I would love any help you could give me. Tips, advice, anything. I love the DIS and our May trip was such a success. I'm addicted to these boards!!!! :rotfl:

Thanks!!!!

Remember that the Wonder is scheduled to be in DryDock I think the first two weeks of October, 2006. The prices for the Magic will probably be higher those weeks. I was checking late September, early October prices for the Wonder this year and the two weeks the Magic is in Drydock, prices are higher on the Wonder, probably because it is more fully booked.

The general concensus on the boards is that you come out MUCH cheaper booking everything separately, especially since you can choose different categories for staterooms and lodging. Combining verandah with value rate resort or combining Cat 11 stateroom with Premium resorts which you can't do if you book the package.
