Need advice/help please

Hello all!
I once again need help from you veterans. Me and the hubby are trying to decide on our shore excursions for our cruise on 1/13. I really want to do the dolphin encounter at Nassau, but kinda wanted to get some feedback first. Has anyone here actually done it themselves, and if so, would you recommend it?
Also, I need some recommendations for what to do on Castaway Cay. The hubby wanted to do the Glass Bottom boat, but I wasn't sure about it, either.

I'm really looking forward to the cruise, and I hope to meet some of you veterans while on board.

I've done the Dolphin Excursiom twice! Loved every minute! Lots of time with the Dolphins and there is still plenty of time for the beach, afterward!

We've booked the dolphin excursion for 11 of us in Nassau on the 3/13-17 Wonder. Now that it's booked, I'm 'wonder'ing, are we missing out on the shopping and cultural things to be found there? This is the first time my kids have ever been exposed to an opportunity like this, what do you think? Am I throwing money at the Dolphins when I should be immersing my kids in the Bahamanian experience?
