We've been to WDW numerous times but this will be our first time venturing over to US. I'm planning a December trip (15th-23rd) and my kids are finally tall enough to ride everything at US, plus with the new HP section open, I think now we are ready to try out US. If we arrive at MCO around 10AM, get our car, head to US and check in (staying onsite) then hit the park until closing. We will spend the night and next day at US as well, until park closing, where we will head over to WDW. Wil that give us enough time to enjoy all the major attractions? Which park should we start with, since we will arrive midday? What do you think crowds will be like then? I'd appreciate any advice you care to offer. TIA!

As long as you are staying onsite, and can utilize FoTL access, you should have no problems getting everything in. Just be forwarned that Grinchmas and the Macy's parade will be going on, cauing an increase in the crowds for the holidays..

Have fun!

Hmm....ok, thanks. Now, what is Grinchmas and what time/where does it occur? Is it a separate ticketed event like MVMCP? Is the Macy's parade at a certain time in one of the parks?

I'm off to search on this! Thanks for the info!

Grinchmas is at IOA, with park admission...dont know a lot about it, as I never really pay attention.

Macy parade is at US, early evenings, also part of admission. You can also be chosen to be a balloon walker!

The holiday festivities at Universal are included in your park admission...including the concerts on Saturday nights at the Studios. There is no "party" like MVMCP so there's no need for additional tickets.
