My 16 year old daughter has agreed to come with her Mom to Disney AGAIN!! :rotfl2: I wanna make sure she has a fantasmic time. Could you please recommend some things teenagers like to do and some fun places to eat? Thanks a bunch!

If you haven't been in many years, and you love roll coasters, then you must ride Expedition Everest!

last year we went with our 16 year (my step son) we didnt need to do anything different then what we were doing to make him happy. He was happy to eat and do what we did and at night time would hang out in the pool and meet other people to chat with.

I'm 16 and I absolutely love Disney! Yet, I have been going all my life. Some of my favorite restaurants are:
SciFi Drive In Theatre-the food is pretty good with their milkshakes and traditional drive-in meals, but the atmosphere inside is the icing on the cake.

Plaza Resturant-the food is awesome! The whole meal they offer is great and the have some of the best desserts in the MK.

50s Prime Time Cafe-the waitresses make the experience so much fun! It's one of those places you have to visit at least once.

A lot of attractions are great for everyone in the family. More appealing for teens, DHS has Tower of
Terror and Rockin Rollercoaster. Depending on when you're heading down Big Thunder Mountain will be closed for refurb Janurary through May, and i wanna say Test Track goes down in April.

Gramdfloluver had a great point with the scifi cafe and the 50's prime time cafe. They're both very fun and interactive. Epcot also provides a wide variety of foods and rides and even smells if your daughter is into multicultural things. As far as rides I'd strongly suggest roller coasters and rides like the tower of terror, but don't forget about calmer rides such as soarin. Soarin is my absolute favorite red in disney world and I'm 15. I loved it when it opened when I was a kid and I still love it today. And finally, don't forget about the little shows disney has throughout the parks such as "it's tough to be a bug" in animal kingdom or the nemo show which is also in the animal kingdom.

We have 5 kids, ages 16, 12, 8, and 6 & 5 year olds w/ Down syndrome. Our BEST planning strategy by far is to buy the Unofficial Guide to WDW and have the kids pick their must-do list. The UG lists each and every attraction, resort, restaurant (TS & CS), show, and shop at WDW in detail.

One of my 16 year old's fav things was taking the Monorail to the Poly. We grabbed CS dinner and ate down on the beach. It was also fun for her to preview what the different shops had to offer, so she'd know exactly where she wanted to go souvenir shopping.

Have fun!

When my family and I went last year, I really, really enjoyed 50's Prime Time Cafe! The waitress was hilarious! I recommend the Peanut Butter and Jelly Milkshake; it's amazing!!:) Also, I LOVED Mt. Everest! :lmao: If I can think of anything else, I'll let you know. Good luck!!

Honestly, I've been going to Walt Disney World all my life and I've never gotten tired of anything. I'm 16 now and we are going back in month, but from when I was a kid to now, I still like some of the things. Chef Mickey's Character Breakfast is one of the best experiences I have to this day. Great entertainment and amazing food. If you're staying at Port Orleans Riverside then I recommend taking a night, I'm not sure when he comes on, but go see Bob Jackson. He is the lounge entertainer that everybody loves. For parks, it's basically what others have been talking about. You're going to get different experiences everywhere, but you can possibly take a family friendly tour if you're into that. Go behind the scenes and check out what goes on. Also, if you both are into sports then I would check out the schedule for Wide World of Sports. Our family loves watching baseball, so we get tickets for spring training.

Have fun, and good luck!

They should have more fun now as a teenager than ever! Disney World never gets old ;)

try doing on a Disney cruise if you want a great Disney experiences
me (15) and my older sister (now 18) love them and so do my parents as you meet loads of new friends and a whole new Disney experience

I always thought it would be fun to do tea at the GF with my mom. On our last mother daughter trip we ate at the brown derby as a special treat and enjoyed it.

Im 14 years old, and just went on a trip to WDW with my mom. Here's some advice for taking a teenager to WDW.

1) If she likes to sleep, let her sleep. I HATE getting up early, and so do most teens, but dont go overboard. Let her sleep until atleast 9:30, if not later. Yes, you will probably want to get up early to do everthing, but most teens hate waking up early. And the earlier we get up , the grumpier we are.

2) Some of my favourite restaraunts in WDW are; Sci-Fi Dine-In and Prime Time Diner. Dont pick to 'fancy' but also dont pick anything to childish.

3) If anything , just DO NOT embaress her. Thats probably the one thing that most teens fear. Alot of times parents dont notice that they are doing it, but its the little things that can get on our nerves.

Hope this helps!

She might like Disney Quest or the Water Parks, they are some of my favorite things to do.
Planet Hollywood would be a good place to eat.

let's get honest here. we all know that if you are a teen, you absolutely love the Whinnie the pooh ride.
