Need advice for EMH

Hi! We are having our first ever trip in January / February. I would like to attempt the morning emh at Magic Kingdom and need some advice please!

We will have had 2 full days at MK before the day that has EMH. My kids are small so not worried about the big thrill rides. Hoping to have already done 7DMT, Pan etc earlier in the week.

Do you think we could get a lot done in Tomorrowland in that first hour or so while most people are running for 7dmt?

We will be hopping to Animal Kingdom later that morning.

Hi there,

Yes you could totally get a bunch of rides done for MK EMH! As you had mentioned, most people are rushing over to 7DMT and the other mountains (space, splash, big thunder). The first two hours of park opening are wonderful. I've done this many times and got a lot done.

I don't think Splash mountain is open for emh in the morning. I could be wrong, but the area to Adventure Land is usually roped off, no Big Thunder, Pirates, or Splash in the morning extra magic hours.

I'm almost positive it's only Tomorrowland and Fantasyland that are open for AM EMH. However, we like to be waiting at the rope by Haunted Mansion a little before 9:00am when the rest of Magic Kingdom opens. You'll be able to do both Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain with little wait since it'll take time for the regular crowd to make their way to the back corner of Adventureland.

My family did early EMH at MK and were underwhelmed by the available attractions.

I would find it more worth it to get the other Fantasyland rides done during that time other than Peter Pan and 7DMT. You can most likely get the Tomorrowland attractions done during that time if that is what you are wanting to do.
