Need advice...change in plans leaving soon

Hi,
I need advice as to how best to take advantage of an 8:10 ADR for Be my Guest on Sunday 8/15. It looks like MK opens at 9 AM. What can I do during this time? I don't want to rush through breakfast but do any rides actually run before 9 AM or can you get in line? I was unable to get FP for the Mine Train so being able to ride that without a wait would be great. Are any kiosks available for same day FPs? How early should I arrive at the gates? We will take some pictures on Main Street but not sure what other benefits there are to getting in early.

For an 8:10 ADR I would be at the gates by 7:45 or so. The Early ADR people will be let in at the left side of the entryway where CMs will meet and verify your reservation. When they will let you in will kinda vary, but it will be before your ADR time as BOG is all the way at the back of the park. Nothing will be operating before open, however I have heard that people that finish their breakfast before 9 can leave and line up for Mine Train before opening which will seriously cut down on the wait time (Mine Train is right near BOG). I have never done this myself and have heard some mixed reports of how this is handled by CMs, so your mileage may vary.

Yes. But there was a CM in front of the ones by mickeys philharmagic, and when I asked he said they weren't open. I could tell that wasn't quite the truth. I walked off and then back a few minutes later and straight to a kiosk. I made my FP and he never said anything.
