OK, I have seen thread about ADR's not showing up when you call to confirm them but I can't remember what advice was given.

I called and finally got an ADR for O'Hana and was told I had no other "reservations". I said yes, I have two - one is for my sons birthday dinner, and the cast member checked several times - under my name, phone number and hotel, and still nothing showed up.

Of course, I can't find my confirmation numbers and there are now no openings on for those restaurants. Am I just out of luck if I can't find the numbers? and what if I do find the numbers but they are not in the system when I show up at the restaurant?

It won't ruin our trip because we are very flexable, but I would like to know what to expect.

thanks

Make sure they check every phone number that you could have given them. I have half of mine listed on my cell # and the other half on my home #. Good luck!!!

i would call back and talk to a different CM and give them every possible phone number.
if there in fact there are no ADRs, then you need to make some back up ADRs.

I would also try calling again and having someone else check for you.....it can't hurt to keep trying.

That confirmation number is gold! I also was told that I didn't have half of my ADRs....but I had the confirmation numbers.....and that found them. The telephone number was transposed....and since I've had this number for 11 years, I'm sticking to my story that it was the CM that messed it up, not me, lol. Plus, I've had this last name for a LOT longer than this phone number and yet the last letter was left off so they couldn't find it under my name either!

If there is any way you can find that confirmation number, you should not have any problem. Our first trip we had those coveted CRT reservations....only when we showed up 10 minutes before our time we weren't on their list.....at any time! Thankfully I had all my confirmation numbers in my cell phone, so I told it to the CM, click click on her computer and she said, oh this is for next month!!!!!!!!!!!! Ummmm, no, I don't think so, lol. Anyway...they found a table for us but I am pretty sure that if I didn't have that confirmation number in my cell phone we'd have been out of luck. Another 3 reservations for that trip were made for the following month....same day of the month, same time, just a different month. Luckily those other restaurants also accomodated us....but it was very nerve wracking every time we gave our name at a reservation desk for the rest of the trip, lol.

OK, I took the house apart and found the confirmation numbers. Believe me they will be with me when we show up at the restaurants. My DS is very relieved as we will be at Boma to celebrate his 27th birthday.

Yes, 27 and he still loves going to WDW with his Mom and Dad. This is a special last minute trip because his DW left him a couple of months ago and I wanted to cheer him up by making his birthday really special.

I also got pins on Ebay to introduce him to pin trading.:wizard:

OK, now to put the house back together. :rotfl:

Call back with the ressie numbers and they should be able to fix it. I checked mine today and 2 were missing. I was able to give confirmation numbers and it turns out they CM had booked them with one of the digits in my phone number wrong.

That's very good to hear!

But, I would call first thing and check on them. Now that you have the numbers, they will be able to tell you for sure.

Hey, don't you remember that your chronological age doesn't matter at Disney...we're all kids. Same thing with calories, they don't count.

See...must be, cause I'm obviously living in Fantasyland!

Be sure that your ADRs have a note that it's his birthday....and of course get him a birthday badge from City Hall (or Guest Services, or sometimes from the resort check in). My girls' birthday is in summer so we don't go for their birthday, but we do celebrate their birthday at the World....we simply pick a day and declare that to be their "celebration day". Last year I found a trading pin for each of them that was their favorite princess and it said Happy Birthday. It was a definite favorite! They wore that pin on their shirts the rest of the trip and got lots of comments on it.

Have fun with the pin trading....just beware, it's addictive!

Great to hear you found them but for others reading my ADR's had my name misspelled.
