Hi-- thanks in advance for your help. We are doing a spontaneous trip March 4-9... we have two girls 2 and 4. I made ressies this morning and could not get anything Breakfast or Lunch at CRT (no shock at all.. I know it is spur of the moment) Anyhow.. we did get Crystal Palace our MK morning at 8:05 and we are going to do the Storybook Breakfast in Epcot on the 8th... and we are going to do Chef Mickeys, LTT and Garden Grill too.

My question is-- should I continue to check with Disney for cancellations for CRT, or just go with what we have? Is it worth trying? What is the best time to call-- evenings?

Or do you think I should just enjoy the fact we got several other character meals instead?

I can't believe we are going to do five character meals.. but our kids love them and they are only young once! Plus we have the dining plan!! woo hoo!

thanks for your advice!!!

If you really want CRT, keep trying. We've caught cancellations a couple of times just the week before our trips. In fact, this goes for all restuarants you want to try. We've lucked into CG, CM, LC, and others at the last moment in the very recent past.

I agree-keep calling! Especially since people have put deposits; it is likely that they will cancel to get their deposit back! I was trying for CRT 90 days out for my last trip and couldn't get it. I kept calling and calling and finally got it due to a cancellation. Sending pixie dust your way! :wizard:

Keep calling. I just cancelled a Cinderella dinner and a Le Cellier ADR for June/July. The CM thought I was crazy to give them up, but some family will be joining us now so I had to switch things around.

We just got back from a last minute trip and there were no cancellations every time we called (a lot). So last week on the day of early entry I told my husband to just go up and ask about getting in. The 2 hostesses looked at one another, shrugged and said sure. So we were able to get in by asking on a presumably slow day??
It doesn't hurt to ask.

Well, I would definitely say yes keep trying! I have been calling and calling trying to get a cancellation for lunch. We have dinner ADRs, but I wanted lunch!

After calling about 10 times, I finally got a lunch on 3/10. Granted, it's at 2 PM, not the best time, but I'm happy! So definitely keep calling!
