Ok, so I finally finalized my plans with my family and now I'm changing them! My ADR date isn't until June 28 so I plenty of time to rethink. So I am taking a 3 1/2 year old & 1 year old to WDW in Sept for free dining. DD loves princesses. We are there 7 nights so have 7 TS.
My current plan is:
CRT breakfast (2TS)
CM dinner
Akershus lunch
CP breakfast
Mickey's BBQ (2TS)

So in the last few days, DD has started to like Alice in Wonderland. She got this figurine from my parents house and now says "Alice is her favorite girl." Ugh! So I'm rethinking my plans. Maybe we should get rid of Mickey's BBQ & do Park Fare breakfast with Alice & then another meal. Probably either CM breakfast or Le Cellier dinner (like I have a shot). We are staying at Bay Lake Tower at the Contemporary so CM is close. Please tell me what you think of 1900 Park Fare and/or Mickey's BBQ. DD loves to dance and I thought it would be fun for her to dance with Mickey & gang. But maybe I could just put CM dinner that night instead...ugh. Decisions, decisions! I know I could pay OOP, but it's also a time constraint with 2 little ones. Any advice would be great. I know they are all hard reservations, so it will be dependent on what I get!

I would drop Princess Norway lunch and sub with Park Fare breakfast. We just returned from a trip with my girls ages 3 and 7. We were in princess overload after Norway and CRT. I think CRT is enough. Just my 2 cents.

We LOVED breakfast at Park Fare with Mary Poppins and Alice. The food was better than Askerhus as well.

We just returned a week ago and did both the Norway breakfast and the 1900 Park Fare breakfast. We were SO disappointed in the Norway breakfast. They brought us one plate of hot food and filled our glasses with OJ. Then she left and never came back until she brought the bill. My husband wanted more of the potatoes and juice and she said no and asked if she could take care of the bill now. We were so rushed and it was not pleasant.

1900 Park Fare was amazing. THe food was wonderful (Lobster eggs benedict...need I say more) and our server was wonderful, the characters were great. A complete 180 on the other meal. Perhaps we visited Norway on an off day but given the choice I would pick 1900 over Norway any day. Especially if you are already eating in the castle.

another vote to drop Akerhaus for 1900 Park Fare. You have the princesses with CRT, which is a really special event, and now she can see Alice at 1900 Park Fare. I LOVED the breakfast there, good characters and fantastic breakfast options like the cold strawberry soup! (sounds odd, but just try it, it's fantastic) :lovestruc

I would drop one of your 2 credit meals. We go for 14 nights and only do one 2 credit meal each trip.

Akershus has the princesses and you get the photo package. CRT is the same only it cost 2 dining plan credits and you eat in the castle. I have eaten twice at CRT and have no desire to eat there again (I felt rushed both times-the last time I was still trying to ge my niece to eat some of her uneaten waffle when the plate was wisked away). I can't wait to try out Akershus-my cousin said they had a great meal.

We did both breakfast and dinner at 1900 Park Fare- both were great!

I would do CRT and 1900 Park Faire and drop Akershus. That's the one place in WDW where I had an absolutely inedible meal--terrible--though it was dinner.

If you also do Akershus and CRT on the same trip, you'll have many repeat princesses. Plus, at 1900, you get the Pooh characters, Mad Hatter, and Mary Poppins. The food is pretty good there too.

There are so many other 1 TS places you could do instead of Mickey's BBQ, that I'd try something else. 'Ohana for dinner is fun, and Chefs has Remy if you go early enough. Though it's not exciting for the kids, the Wave is very good, and it's really convenient to where you're staying.

Thanks everyone...ugh. Such decisions. DD love princesses so I might just keep all of the meals. I don't care if it's repeat princesses as we are going now since she enjoy the princesses before she gets out of that stage!

Has anybody been to Mickey's BBQ? Is it worth 2TS?

I can tell you about MBYBBQ: It is located outside in an open air bldg- you're right in the thick of the weather and BUGS! You are seated on a first come, first served basis - so you have to arrive very early in order to get a decent seat for the "entertainment". Then you have to stand in line for your food - and it gets crazy!
I haven't been to 1900 PF yet - but we have reservatons there next week. I hear it's great!
We had lunch at CRT last year - the food was very good - and we did not feel rushed at all.
I can't comment on Akershus since we haven't yet had the pleasure of dining there. I do have a reservation for breakfast, but am strongly considering cancelling it - especially based on the comments lately on this board. Plus, it's quite a hike thru Epcot to the World Showcase to get there for bkfst (WS isn't open at that time of day, so we'll have to leave FW to go over there.)
Have you checked the menus on Allears.net to help with your decision? You can also do a search on YouTube to see actual video of each of these places!
Whatever you choose, I'm sure your daughter will have a wonderful time!
Bon appetite!

Well I dont think you are going to like what I have to say but 1900 PF was the worst breakfast (and dinner) that we have ever had onsite. The noise level was insane, I thought I was going to go deaf...tables super close together and the food was terrible.

I have never been to the BBQ, but since you are doing CM and that has so many of the Mickey gang, maybe drop the BBQ...seems like you are more unsure of keeping that one than the princes ones. Personally, if she likes Alice,( one of my DD's faves and she is almost 19) for sure go to 1900 Park Fare, enjoy a few moments in the GF gift shop. If you do drop the BBQ, that leaves you the 2 TS to use...so you can have all the princess TS you are after and one meal left besides, maybe Ohana with the characters there? Pluto, Lilo, Stitch for breakfast? Your DD can join in on the conga line dance that they do each time, it is pretty cute.

1900 Park Fare was awesome! We had the later reservations at 10:55AM and we were one of 12 tables at that time. We got to see the characters every 10 minutes and the food was hot!

Thanks for all the advice.

Yeah, for the 2TS for Mickey's BBQ - I was planning 1900 Fare breakfast and Le Cellier dinner (if possible). If I can't get Le Cellier, I was going to try CM for breakfast on Departure day since we're right there.
This is what we are planning.

Sat. Sept 26 - arrive, MK
Sunday 27th - no ADRs, DHS
Monday 28th (my birthday) - CRT early breakfast, MK
Tuesday 29 - 1900 Park Fare breakfast, Blizzard Beach then Halloween party
Wed. 30 - Epcot - Akershus lunch & Le Cellier dinner
Thursday Oct. 1 - AK then CMs dinner
Friday Oct. 2 - BBB, CP breakfast, MK
Sat. Oct 3 - depart

Here's hoping! I appreciate all the advice. I think we will try 1900 Park Fare. I've always wanted to go to the Grand Floridian, and with Free Dining, now is a good time.
