Need a Thanksgiving day lunch suggestion

Our Thanksgiving trip plans are almost done. I've got just a couple of reservations decisions to make, and I thought I would get you guys to help me with this tough one.

On Thanksgiving day we're at Epcot early to try Mission:Space, having a quick counter service for breakfast that day. I hope I keep it down . Then we're going to go over to MGM to ride a couple of favorites. After that, it's back to our room at Grand Floridian to get ready for our Thanksgiving dinner at LTT at 7pm. Yep. A 3 parker!

QUESTION: I need a non- Thanksgiving day type of lunch somewhere in the Epcot, Boardwalk, MGM area.

I'm looking for a nice sit-down restaurant, that doesn't serve TG dinner. What would you pick?

Thanks in advance!

I would pick Coral Reef Cafe at Epcot, but then I always pick Coral Reef Cafe. I have eaten there on each of my 13 trips to Disney. Its my favorite restaurant at WDW. Fish is definitely not a traditional Thanksgiving meal!

I would suggest SCI-FI dine-in theater @ MGM. It's sit down, but with mainly lunch-type fare. The portions are huge, so you might even be able to share a dish. The atmosphere is really fun, it's like stepping from day into night. I recommend the reuben if you like them, theirs is delicious.

At EPCOT, I would recommend Italy, the Japanese tepanyaki dinner or Mexico. All are good and definetly no where close to TG foods.

Good luck:bounce:

I haven't eaten at Restaurant Marrakesh, but I hear it's quite nice... and it should be very dissimilar to Thanksgiving in taste and atmosphere!
