Need a suggestion for MK day dinner....

We have an entire day planned for MK.... and right now have Kona Cafe booked for dinner, but looking to try something new. We are staying at the Poly and will have already eaten there so not missing out on anything. Does anyone have a suggestion? This is for 2 weeks from now, so ADR's are few and far between. And hoping to keep it in MK or on a monorail resort. Thanks!!!!

Not sure what type food you are into or where you have tried before. For TS restaurants in the park, I would say LTT is the best, and CP comes in close second. But if I were in the park and just wanted some dinner, I think I would go with CS meal there, the Columbia Harbor House has great fish & chips or chicken and fries, or the there's bbq at Cosmic Rays, awesome Taco Salads at Tortuga and also at the one in Frontierland (can't think of the name of it). IF you really want TS, and are willing to leave the park, 1900 PF is fun, and Grand Floridian Cafe gets great reviews for their food. I've also heard some good things about the Wave.

Last year I suggested(about 500 times) we get an ADR for dinner on the day her 2 younger kids joined us. As we're getting ready the night before our flight, she says we really ought to do dinner with the kids when they get there. We were able to snag an ADR for Grand Floridian Cafe for 7 3 days before eating there. It was amazing. Great steaks, the best potatoes on property, wonderful Onion Soup, and dessert samplers with all winners. Best meal of the trip. Will return in October with a group of friends. Just hop on the bo-at from MK to GF, and after eating, take the monorail back. MK is the next stop. Easy peasy and pure heaven.

Have you ever tried the Grand Floridian Café? I think that it is as good as Kona, if not better.

You may try a late lunch at the Crystal Palace. May still be able to get in and it is almost the same as dinner but several dollars less. We also have been eating at Tony's Town Square the last two visits.
