Need a sprinkle of pixie dust!

My 8yo DD isn't feeling good, sore throat & low grade temp but also has that wheezy cough asthma mom's and suffers would recognize. I have her doing her inhaler and will try to get her to Dr tomorrow but I really don't want her sick right now.

We have tickets to Lion King Sunday night and have been looking forward to this for months. I'm having nightmare visions of her ending up in the hospital or being too sick to go.

Still coughing I got the nebulizer out, hopefully that will do the trick and help us make it though the night. Between that and inhaler not much improvement. If it gets worse we may be at the ER.

I hope your dd gets to feeling better soon. Kids always get sick before going somewhere like that, just like they always have a bruise from falling off their swing or bike right before picture day at school. It's called Murphy's Law.

Oh my, lots of pixie dust coming your way! I hope that your DD gets to feeling much better and that you get to see the show too. We saw it last week and it's so good. I particularly liked Nala and Mufasa's singing and Scar is cool.

I hope she gets better without having to go to the hospital. I've been in your shoes many times! Lots of prayers and free-breathing pixie dust headed south. Hope she feels better in plenty of time for the show.

The nebulizer seems to have done the trick. A couple of treatments and she's sleeping fine. I'm still going to try to get her to the Dr tomorrow. I don't want to risk her getting worse, if she's really tight they'll put her on steriods but that should get her past it.
