My DH and I like to have a date night while at WDW. LeCellier is booked for our trip. We went there last trip for the first time and absolutly loved it. Should I give up trying to book it? If so, what would be a good substitution? We loved the cheese soup and the steak and everything else we ate:rotfl:

If you are planning on staying in Epcot that night, I would say to try and get ADRs for Chefs de France. Our meals there were great! Also, if you are willing to go to another park, try the Brown Derby at Hollywood Studios and ask for the Bamboo room. Its very quiet, romantic, and away from all the screaming kids. The food is out of this world!!! If you love seafood, try the crabcake, scallops, and the black grouper. You can't go wrong there!!

If you loved their steak, try Jiko's and have their steak. It's excellent.

I tried to get into Le Cellier, and of course, it was booked solid. So, after looking at the menus, I chose Chefs de France. None of the other Epcot restaurants were sounding good to me at the time (must have been in a weird mood. LOL). Seems to be a similar experience, even if CdF gets lower ratings. I've heard good things and bad things so I'm planning on going in with an open mind.

It doesn't have to be an Epcot rest. We will have a car - so can go anywhere. We have eaten at Boma - I didn't love it. Does it compare to Jiko?

Chefs de France is also a pretty restaurant with Toulouse Lautrec murals on the ceilings, white tablecloths and napkins. We enjoyed the food there and the setting Hope you enjoy it too.

I was in the same boat re: Le Cellier. just left it too late to book it. I kept calling and trying. Nada. The last time I called the CM asked if I knew someone that could go with us. He had a table for 3!?!?!? Granted its for lunch but what we have to eat is on the lunch menu.

LOVED Narcoossees at the Grand Floridian! We just ate there for our Anniversary on the 10th and it was Delicious! Great view of Wishes ifyou can get there and time it right...

If you want steak, and are in the Epcot area that night, how about Yachtsman Steakhouse? You won't be disappointed!

Narcoosee's is also an excellent choice, as a pp said. Try the surf and turf! Yum!

Both of these will be better (quieter) for a date night than Le Cellier anyway.

Enjoy!:thumbsup2

Previous Poster my father would love those staceys, well any way to the OP I dont know if your are on the dinner plan because LeCelliar has the best quality and size steak for a 1 credit table service so if I wanted to stay in Epcot I would go to Coral Reef they have a pretty good steak, but I have to agree with you on BOMA and if Jikko is similar well I would not dare try it at those prices, but maybe Narcooses would be a good choice good luck! or even Kona everyone raves over Kona Strip

I love Kona Cafe at Polynesian, but it isn't exactly romantic. It can be a bit noisy. They have awesome desserts too! You can take a walk around the Poly grounds. The kids could go to the neverland club, unless you already have arrangements.

Happy planning! :goodvibes
