We have all of our ADRs for our December trip, but I decided to cancel a 2 credit show in favor of being able to use the extra credit for a breakfast.

Now I need another 1 credit dinner. We have a dinner at San Angel Inn booked, but I've been there many times in the past and I want to try something new.

I've been trying for Le Cellier (in my dreams), Coral Reef ("all booked up that day"), and Ohanas (only available seating at 9:30 pm...we'd have to take a cab back to POP) and wanted to know if anyone has any other suggestions for restaurants.

We'll be at AK that day, but we don't plan on staying there until very late so the dinner can be anywhere as long as we can catch a bus back to POP. We have Park Hoppers so it can be in another park.

Here is where we already have dinner ressies: Crystal Palace, 50s prime Time, Sci Fi (lunch), and Chefs de France. (We have breakfasts at Ohanas, Boma, and 1900 Park Fare).

What do you think?? Has anyone tried the Grand Floridian Cafe for dinner? Kona? Whispering Canyon Cafe? BTW...we're 2 adults...but I'm not opposed to character (or princess) dining!

yes cape may has great ribs & chicken as well as pastas
t-rex is opening oct 14 downtown Disney but its not on a dining plan
the wave at the Contemporary is great too
fulton's has great steak

I've been looking into the menu at the Wave as well...are there any pictures of the restaurant lurking around somewhere on the internet?

Ideally I think I'd like to book something at a Deluxe resort because the only way I can convince Dbf to see the Christmas decorations is with food or alcohol (or both!).

I say go for the wave. It was a wonderful meal and dessert, yummy dessert.

Dinner at Boma!! Definitely. :thumbsup2 All the more so since you'll be at AK that day.

Yummy . . . we're going twice next trip because we love it so much!

Happy deciding. :)

If you really want Le Cellier or Coral Reef keep trying, something may free up, you never know. Otherwise, I second Boma for dinner. Cape May is fantastic also!:thumbsup2

How about Biergarteren? This was one of my favorite meals my last trip.:goodvibes

I call the Phone number I was given to by a CM in Disney dining and talked to someone at TRex, now I dont know if she newthis but gaveme the answer only the platium dining can use it. I have no clue whatthe platium dinning is. What I am going to do the day befor e I get on the airport to come home I am going to break tradtion and go there for lunch, I'll have to fit caseys in another day, because it isnt a DW trip for me without a caseys hotdog :rotfl:

we like the grand floridian but the atmosphere doesn't seem much different than someplace at home
since you are having breakfast at boma, how about dinner at kona (good food, nice hotel to poke around and on the monorail) or biergarten (good buffet, music and lively atmosphere and then you are right there for illlumnations) or go all out for california grill - great food and service!
we also like raglan road at downtown disney --fun place to be and the food is tasty - great music and they have a dancer...

let us know what you :goodvibes decide!

Kona's is good for breakfast or dinner! Another Epcot restaurant choice could be Rose and Crown.

But, what I'd recomment most, since you are considering canceling San Angel in Epcot, how about Tutto Italia at Epcot instead? Most dining posters seem to love this place, I've read very, very few negatives on it. We are going in Nov and I can't wait!! I'm even considering adding another meal there, and this is the place I'm most excited to go to! Besides Le Cellier, which I can't get a ressie to yet, but I'm really hoping and praying that I do!

Cape May for us was gross but then again we are from New England and we have some of the best seafood so it didn't compare. I have heard from many people at work that Raglad road is really good, whipering Canyon is good to, I need one more table setting and I am not sure what to do myself, eating is consuming my planing this trip and I am trying to lose weight. let us know what you are going to do, maybe I'll take your lead and follow what was suggested on here. :)

You can get a bus to DTD til 2am.. so don't rule it out right away :thumbsup2
We love Ohana. Sooo yummy and we were smiling the entire meal- really fun atmosphere! We're excited to try Tutto on our December trip. Boma is always a favorite as well.

I vote for tuttu Italia. It is the best food at Disney!!! Also we love Kona.

We're actually going to be at Boma that morning for breakfast, so I don't really want to go to the same restaurant twice in one day lol. The menu does look great so we wil probably try dinner there on our next trip.

Ahh I didn't know about the buses to DTD! This is why the DIS is so fantastic! Since we were originally supposed to go to the Poly for the Luau that night I'd still really like to try something there. I want to try the lapu lapu so badly!!

Calling in tonight to check (again) on Coral Reef, Le Cellier, Ohana and I'm going to ask about Kona, The Wave, and Tutto Italia as well since everyone seems to agree that they are fantastic. I'll keep you updated! thanks!

Just a word on that Lapu lapu...it really wasn't very good:confused3 . I liked that it was served in a pineapple, but it didn't taste very tropical, infact, it was very strong (and I don't consider myself a lightweight). After I drank some of it, I had them add more fruit juice to make it moderately enjoyable. Should've had the lava flow!

we really enjoyed whispering canyon. The food was good and so was the atmosphere.
