I need a dinner PS suggestion for MK. We are already eating at Libery Tree Tavern. We have a lunch PS at Crystal Palace, but we are now thinking about cancelling that and switching to a dinner PS. Not a fan of sea food but other then that we are open to ideas? Suggestions?

We really like The Plaza Restaurant. Sandwiches, burgers, salads, shakes, fries in a quaint setting. It's very small though, so a PS is a must!!!

I love the Plaza also, great suggestion, or, take the monorail and eat at one of the hotel restaurants! :mickeybar

We had dinner at Tonys Town square in March. I had heard some negative things about this restaurant though, and was rather nervous! But, we really enjoyed our meal! We started with the Calamari which was light and crisp! Cooked to perfection! I had the Pollo Alla Fiorentina, which was a chicken breast topped with prosciuto, spinach, and melted cheese that had a marsala mushroom glaze. It also came with roasted potatoes and nicely steamed tender crisp asparagus spears! It was yummy! My dh had the Bistecca ai Ferri, which was a NY Strip Steak with fontina Mac n Cheese served with an carmelized onion veal reduction. It was great also! (I had to taste!) My ds had the kids spagetti that came with a very large meat ball. He cleaned his plate also! :rotfl: We were to full to try desert, but the ones I saw coming out looked great! Also, service was excellent, our server was very attentive, our glasses were refilled before asking and the pace of the meal was very good! It was very busy, but we never felt rushed! It was a very unexpected, though superb meal! We will definetaley go bacK!

We just got back last week and had a very good experience at Crystal Palace for lunch. We were seated right at our PS time (3:00pm). We also ate at the Plaza and again were seated right on time but our waitress was very grouchy (must have been having a bad day??). We weren't too impressed with the sandwiches we ordered either. Maybe we order the wrong thing. We would definately go back to Crystal Palace. It was our best meal of the week. Spoodles was a close second.

Dinner at the Castle, definitely. Look at the menu and see if anything appeals to you, though. What an environment to eat in! :earsgirl:

I emailed our travel agent to see if we could get a PS for dinner at the castle. That would be cool, although our boys probably won't get a big kick out of the princesses, DD will like them. It's a long shot, but we will see. I don't really want to go to a resort to eat since this will be our main MK day and we probably won't leave mid day unless it is really hot. We have some other days planned to hit resorts.

take the monorail to either
Concourse Steakhouse (contemporary)
or
Grand Floridian Cafe
both were excellent meals

If you want to dine in the magic Kingdom, I would strongly suggest either the Crystal Palace or Cindy's. Both are great. Was disappointed the last time I dined at the Plaza. Thought the food was just so-so.

If you can dine outside of the Magic Kingdom, then I'd recommend either O'Hana's or the California Grill. Both of these are excellent places to dine. I like Chef Mickey's for breakfast, but thought dinner was awful.

Dinner at Cindy's is non-character. The characters are just at breakfast & lunch.

I'll second leaving MK for diner. O'Hana's is a great 'buffet' and quite family friendly. The boat ride from the MK is really nice. If you want a real treat think California Grill. Still family friendly and a great view. You can also beat the crowds and watch wishes from on top the Contemp.

I love LTT for dinner! Wouldn't change that. Good food, good service, low key--great for a break & true enjoyment. It's a favorite restruant of all of ours.

Not a CP fan at all, have had a very rotten experience in every department there.

I think eating at the castle for dinner would be very cool though. I have all boys though, so it won't happen anytime soon.

We had dinner at Cindy's last weekend it was a totally all around great time, the meal, the surroundings, and our servers were great.

Also second the idea of leaving MK and going over to Concourse Steakhouse, we had a phenominal meal and DD4 loved watching the monorail, and it was a quick ride back to the park!
