Hello all!

I am throwing a movie/holllywood themed bday party for a coworker on Thursday. I plan to make cupcakes that look like buckets of popcorn kind of like this: http://cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=gallery&file=displayimage&pid=1470602

I was wondering if anyone would be able to design a cupcake wrapper that looks like a red & white striped popcorn bucket?? Would you also be able to make a mini cupcake sized?popcorn::

I've been trying to do it by hand and on the computer and I'm just not liking the way it looks. If someone could do this I would greatly appreciate it!!popcorn::

THANKS!!!

Dolly,

Thank you for the link! I am going to play with it and see if I can get it to work. Your candy wrapper is very cute too! I was looking in your 4shared file and saw a green & white striped cupcake wrapper you did in the Bugs folder. Would you possibly be able to make it red & white striped??

Thank you!!

Unfortunately, I'm traveling this week so I don't have access to my computer and I'm not able to make anything. Good luck!

That's ok! I was actually able to adapt your candy bar wrapper and it works! Thanks :)

Here is a pic...not a very good one though. When I upload my pics from my camera I will post again :)

Wow - love them!!!! Could you post your wrapper - I'd love to make these for DS's birthday!

I need that same wrapper too for an event that we are doing with the Cub Scouts at the end of the month.

Yep I did use the candy bar wrapper, but just the striped portion. I didn't have access to my normal graphics programs & was getting frustrated with word & paint so I placed a blank template over your stripes :)

Here are the links to the wrappers (normal & mini)...please keep in mind I did this in a rush & without editing software so it looks a bit sloppy. But it works! Just cut along the gray lines & you're good to go.

Mini Size

For the marshmallows:
Use scissors to snip an "x" across the mini marshmallow. (cut about half way into the mallow)
After cutting, i squished mine down a bit to make them look more fluffy looking but this is optional.
Use the yellow Colormist spray (available at craft/party stores) to spray the "popcorn" to desired yellow/pale yellow color
If you can't find the Colormist spray (Wilton makes it) you could just use some yellow food coloring & a bit of water (to dilute it) and "paint" the mallows.

Any other ?s let me know!

awesome!!!!!!!!!!
I have to ask, did you use reg. size cupcake holders? they look a lot bigger then a reg. size cupcake

The cupcakes you see on the stand are standard regular sized cupcakes. The ones on the table are minis (minus the two reg size on the table toward the back) Hope this helps!

Sorry for the delayed response...I just saw this!!

I used regular sized wrappers/pans for the cupcakes on the stand & mini wrappers/pans for the ones on the table in the front.
