One of my Rhodedendrums (sorry about the sp!!) died. I need to replace it but would like something different.

It is against my brick house and I would like something that grows about 5 feet tall, partial to both sunn and shade and is hardy!!! My Rhodedendrum next to where this will go is purple and then I have pink azeleas and burning bushes, purple pansies, junipers and a few others I don't know their names.

I would like something white!! Any suggestions for this "black" thumb-novice gardener???

How about Spirea???? I have white ones in the front of our bay window (they were there when we moved in) and they are full, in a shade/sun setting and the scent from the flowers is AWESOME!!!

I'm not sure if it comes in white buy weigelia is beautiful - mine's almost in bloom!

Hi Rbuzzotta! :D

If the spot where you want to put the new plant receives mostly morning sun, how about an Annabellle Hydrandgea? The size is right, take a peek.... .Annabelle Hydrangea

Kim :D

Thanks, I wrote all the names down and will take them to the local nursery.

Snowwark, the hydrangea look just like what I need.

Decemberrr99, I would love some nice smelling flowers. I'llhave to check that out too.

justjulie, I'll check out the weigelia too!

Thanks for the input..........

I also need to put color in my flower bed on the other side of my lawn......I wish I could download my yard for you all to give me ideas.......computer illiterate.......gardener illiterate! But I'm having fun learning...........
