Yes, I know you're all just digging out from one hurricane, and there may be another on the way, but I need a pin favor!

Just in case WDW is somewhat back on schedule tomorrow, they are supposed to release the Mission Space First Anniversary pin at Epcot. OK, I admit it: Wwe're space-maniacs . . . DH and I met at a Star Trek convention . . . got engaged at a Science Fiction convention (or maybe the other way around, I'm too old to remember exactly) . . . we raised our kids on it :charac2: . . . our lives would be incomplete without this pin. . . yadayadayada. . .

So, if any of the local DIS pinplas is not too busy shoveling debris to the curb, and you just happen to be at Epcot tomorrow, could you pick up a pin for me? Please. DH and I will really appreciate it. :love1: Thanks.

JudySue and I will stop by Epcot in the morning (but not crack of dawn). We will try to get a couple, but can't promise anything.

Okay.. once Robyn is helped (and I refuse any help unless she gets it first!!!).. I want to hijack this thread with my own plea.. no.. outright shameless begging... for some kind soul that might find it in their hearts to help a poor defenseless down on their luck pathetic bedridden between the hours of 11pm and 7am weepy whiny pathetic (oops, used that one already - what the heck, it fits) adventurer who will not be there until the 7th and her cohort who she will have to listen to whining for 5 days if he doesn't get one until I pop him over the head with a pin bag by getting 2 spare mission space pins. Pweety Pweeese?

Oh yeah, and some punctuation for the above run on sentence would be nice too :)

Oh, puh-lease. Someone get AZJeff two of these pins.

Otherwise we'll all have to listen to an entire Epcot Event of whining -- and let me tell you, this boy can be a truly sorry sight when he gets into a full-blown whine. None of us, especially not Miss Lauri, need to be subjected to this. :sad2:

Of course, I think we can go ahead with the pinbag bopping regardless of whether someone gets Jeff the pins or not. There is no day that couldn't include one or two good Jeff bops. ::yes:: I mean it's not like he's not going to tick off Lauri about something, at least a couple times per day. :smooth: Right????

I'm next in line. I grew up on the space program. Even got to saty upmlate when I was 8 yrs. old to watch the moon landing. Even though I will probably never go on htis ride I do like space pins.

Thanks!!

pssstt.. Robyn!!

One of the 2 pins is for Obi-Wan that's getting stuck behind taking care of the savage poodles while I'm in WDW!

But thats okay - pinbag whopping it is! I think we might have a new activity for the GPA - you can earn medals on your style, form, force of blow... :teeth:

Hi All

JudySue and I were able to get to Epcot this morning, definitely not at the crack of dawn. It was not crowded and we were able to get all the pins asked for,

Unless asked otherwise, we will hold on to them and make some trades at the Great Pin Adventure. JudySue said she is easy to get along with, just bring your spare “Wet Paint” pins. :)

Robyn – JudySue has been known to trade pins for “Joyva Chocolate Covered Halavah” which can be found in the dairy case in the larger Giant groceries; we have not been able to find any down here.

We’ll see you all in a few weeks.

Ok, back the truck up here. I was minding my own business working on Great Pin Adventure stuff and I come on-line to find I am getting abuse about something I haven't even said? That's messed up. Of course if someone does have an extra Mission Space anniversary pin that would be cool.

Lauri, do I have anything good to trade for that?

And I'll be sure to pack my sun screen so that it will be a white whine rather than a red whine. :teeth:

Jeff

Jeff -- JudySue says you can trade with her or with MeanLaureen; your choice. She thinks you might get a better deal with her (but remember, she IS a Mets fan). -- Mike

Michael,

It would be my privilege to bring Judy Sue Joyva chocolate covered Halavah! Here in the civilized mid-Atlantic states, it is readily available. . . unlike Wet Paint pins. :earseek:

Does Judy Sue want the individual Halavah bars? Or one of those gigantic logs that they cut by weight? I think the big logs come in several flavors -- regular, chocolate, and marble? But maybe only the regular is chocolate-covered?

Just let me know her preference, and we will deliver. :teeth:

Does Judy Sue have any other pins I want? I can bring a lot of halavah! :cool1:

---------------------------------------

Jeff,

Lauri and I are just getting a jump on the necessary bopping that will surely be needed during your upcoming visit to WDW. We girls like to plan ahead. :smooth:

Robyn

The packages they sell in Giant are about 6"x 3"x 1" and are in the Dairy Department. She does prefer the Chocolate Covered Plain. I think she has other pins to trade. They do not have to be kept refrigerated, but they should not get overheated.

We'll see you in a few weeks.

Mike

P.S. Judy is cheering in the background.
