Need a new casserole dish

Try Pfatzgraff. I have some that match my pattern and have glass lids. I've got a round one and a rectangular one.

I have a lecruset I realy love. I'd hunt a new one down at homegoods. They should have a good selection to choose from.

I'm not a regular QVC shopper, but I do remember seeing some nice ones they had on one day.

Also search 'temp-tations' on QVCs site, that line has some pretty decorated ones with lids.

doesn't matter the shape but I would like an ovenproof lid, and I definately need larger than 2qt, even 2 1/2 would be better

Yes. Le Creuset is wonderful, but even at homegoods (when you can find them) or at the outlets they are far from budget.

Take a look at Fiesta Ware. They have square and round casseroles in many colors. I have navy, teal, white, purple in miscellaneous sizes. I like the weight and they just don't chip-at least that's my experience.

I would not recommend these. The lids just sit on the top so they can be stacked. Not airtight. That doesn't bother me, but mine were treated with care and are chipped around the edges anyway! Terrible for only 6 months use.
