I'd love to bring a cute Disney tree for our hotel room (table top).. I can only find the Tinkerbell tree and Princess tree at Target...I'm looking more for MICKEY, can't find one anywhere. Anyone have any luck?

I can't say that I have seen a Mickey tree. I have an old blue Toy Story table top tree from a few years ago that I picked up at the Disney Store on clearance. You would most likely do better to look for a simple table top tree somewhere like Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Old Time Pottery, or Joann's. Buy the ornaments separately from DisneyShopping.com or somewhere like Walmart, Target, or Hallmark. Don't forget to consider a prelit tree or else don't forget to buy a string of lights too.

Have fun! Maggie

You're probably right...I should just make my own. I'm just surprised there isn't something like that out there. Now if I needed a Light-up Christmas Tree HAT I'd be in business...there are bunches of those on ebay! Ain't America grand?

In October their were some very small table top trees (about 10 inches tall) that had little Mickey icon ornaments on it. :earsboy:

I have been looking for something similar also. At one Target I did see a tag for a Mickey tree but none in stock. Of course this was when we had gone out of town for the weekend. Every other Target only seems to have the Tink or Princess tree. I can't even seem to find mini Mickey ornaments locally. Everything is Princess, Pooh or Tink. Good Luck and if you find anything, please post.

We just bought a small tree from Hobby Lobby for our resort room. We too are looking for small Mickey-ish ornaments. We thought they'd be easy to find. Hmmm....not so!

What I decdied to do is just get a small tree, and I'm making mickey icons by putting 3 bells together with wire (can you picture it?) I bought a bag of gold, silver, red, and green bells...only 2.49/each for about 20 bells per bag. The bells are not the tiny ones either. After I get it started I'll take a photo... now for the top I'm not sure yet.

Styrofoam(sp) balls painted black? Alarger size for the head and 2 slightly smaller ones for the ears. :cold:

I just saw a winnie the pooh tree with a few ornaments and a pooh topper at kmart price was 24.99

I'm glad you were able to create your own tree. I would like to get the Princess Tree for my DD. Where did you look in Target for it?

I made Disney ornaments for our tree we are taking to the CBR out of clip art I found online...

We printed them out really tiny and backed it with red ornament-shaped contruction paper and laminated them... They aren't fancy, but we were able to get ALOT of characters that I'd never get otherwise... Figment and all the Princes.. all the dwarves.. etc. I think the kids will love them!!

Disney's Days of Christmas sells a small fiber optic tree with the MM icons on it in red & blue (and maybe other colors too, I forget). The tree with its block base (which is yellow and has some characters on it) is probably between 12 & 15" tall. Perfect for a table.

They are in a pink box about 2 ft' high in the Christmas section for 19.99, I also saw them at Home Depot when I got my green mickeys...

Is that at Disney?

Go buy a tabletop tree from Walmart - less than $5. Purchase either wired ribbon or garland for your tree and then put your own ornaments on it. My daughter has a tree similar. It has Disney Prinesses, Baloo, Simba, Bratz and Carebears. The little tree skirt for it is Disney Princesses - very cute. You can very easily put your own Mickey ornaments on it. They have lots of Mickey ornaments at the Disney Store over here by me.
