Need a meeting place

I need to pick a meeting place to hook up with my in-laws next Monday at EPCOT. They have never been so it has to be easy to find, SPACE SHIP EARTH is not a great place because it can be crowded and it is a EMH morning there. They will be there before the World Showcase opens.

Where would you pick?

How about at the merchandise cart in front of Epcot, or at the bottom of the monorail entrance?
Or inside at the front of the raised flower in the center just as you enter Epcot?
Or in the Art of Disney store.

I'm assuming you want to meet inside the parks. If you want a central major attraction, then how about the fountain's?

If it is inside I would also go with the fountains. Very relaxing to watch and wait, big enough to find, not too many people hang around there.

Fountains are large too - I would specify "near main fountain, just outside MouseGear shop."

If you think everyone is going to be pretty on time and you all have cell phones, I would meet where you buy the leave a legacy tiles. Just inside the entrance on the right. This way they won't have to "find anything" just walk in and stand there. Not a thrilling spot to wait long but you can always people watch and check out some of the tiles

Harmbe, do you think that might be hard to spot? Perhaps if they still had ice outside it might be easier. BTW what part of Northern Mass are you from? My family and myself live in Rowley.

If you don't want to meet them at spaceship earth, I'd tell them to walk straight and stop at the first fountain they hit.

If you want to meet outside the park, I would suggest the seats in front of Guest Relations. There is a few trees with seats around them. You would be easy to spot if someone had their back to Guest Relations.

I believe the best place to meet at any of the parks is Guest Relations. You can even leave messages there. It is relatively quiet, very often you can sit down, and if you are not there when your party gets there they can ask if there are any messages for them.

I also think that the entrance to Ice Station Cool is a good idea. It's easy to find, and there is only one way to get to it.

I like the red phone booth in UK(pluss there's only one of those!)..there are bathrooms near there and you all could walk out together.

After SE there is a coffee/fruit/pastry place on the right hand side that is right across from the fountains. That would also be a good choice!!

I would suggest that you all meet at the large dancing fountains on the side facing World Showcase. If anyone in the party does not know where the dancing fountains are, you can always ask a cast member. The nice thing with this place is it is a rather large open area. It is pretty easy to spot people here!

I second the Fountain View Cafe option. You can sit down, it has a nice view of the fountain (duh!), and you can get something to eat while you wait.

I vote for the fountains, too. The side facing WS is definitely not crowded, especially if arriving before WS opens.
