Need a little OKW advice please!!

Hi all! We are owners at OKW, and while we visit the world a few times a year, we had never stayed there (gasp!) until last November when we atayed for 2 nights in a two bedroom. Well, as I am sure it is no surprise to all of you OKW lovers, we fell in love too!!!! We were in building 23 or 24, and thought the location was great!
We did not really have enough time to fully explore the resort, so.....we are going back for a week in April!!!! Question.....I called today to add a request that we be close to the HH. I did not know that that is a seperate booking category......so, can anyone tell me what buildings I can request (and I know that it is not gaurunteed), that are near the HH without actually being in the HH category! Also, are buildings 23, 24,25 considered HH category? Sorry so long, I just want our first ''real stay'' at OKW to be simply magical!!! Thank you!!!!

Here is a coded map of OKW: http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g303/GDuLong/OKWMap-January2008.jpg You can see buildings 11-14 and 23-26 are considered HH. Other close desirable buildings, IMHO, are 15, 16, 62, 63, and 64. Good luck!

wow.....I didn't even know that we were actually in a HH building in November when we visited. Weird since I never even requested it, yet when I called to request it for my upcoming trip they said I couldn't do it. Oh well, live and learn I guess. Any other recommendations on what buildings are most convenient to the main pool and restaurant? Thank you.

We just stayed in building 14 at Christmastime. It was nice to be right across the way from the shop, pool, Olivias, boat, bus stop, etc. But it was very noisey...we could hear the buses from 6 am until 2 am (may not be as late for your trip, but was until 2 am while we were there).

If you want to be close to all the stuff at the HH, I'd say building 16 (as it's not right at the intersection (like building 62 and 63 are).

OP-We are staying at OKW in July, and I too wanted to stay close to HH. Let me know what you requested and how they responded. In other words, did you request a particular building or an area.

We have always enjoyed the boat ride to DTD and find it to be a more relaxing trip than on the bus. You catch the boat at the dock behind the HH. Walk up the walkway like you are headed to Olivia's, and keep going until you hit the water. When we went, there were two boat drop offs at DTD, one on each end.

When we stayed in Buildings 15 and then 18, I thought we were pretty close to the HH. I judge it this way-if it's close enough that even I can walk to the HH, it's pretty close (can you tell I can't walk far?)

NJdadof2........when I called originally to book I just asked for a two bedroom, and was surprised at the availabilty, considering it is Easter week. I called back the next day to request to be near the HH, and was told that I could not request that as it is a seperate booking category. As I understand it though, it is the same amount of points.
I am just confused because we went last minute in November, right before Thanksgiving, and we were in a two BR in building 24, which is considered a HH building, although I did not even request it.

Have been staying at OKW every year since joining, but have never stayed in the hospitality house area. We love the other areas since they are quieter. HH is just a short walk or bus ride away from the other areas. Love OKW.
