Need a little info re: ADRs w/ cc guaranty this year

I hang out in this area of disboards about 1x per yr, around 180 days before my trip - my 180 day mark is 6/3/12, and this will be the first time I make ADRs w/ the credit card guaranty and I am wondering how this works.
We have deluxe dinning and several of our choices ADR wise require the cc guaranty, when I book a cc guaranty ADR will I have to enter the credit card #, expiration date, code on the back, etc, for each ressie requiring it?
Or, does the option online of linking w/ your dinning plan obviate this requirement?
I don't have any prepaid options (like hoop dee doo, spirit of aloha, etc) on my list, so only the cc # in case of no show to worry about.
Here on the west coast my booking window opens @ 3 am online and 4 am on the phone (unless that's changed from last yr,) so I need to have a pretty clear idea of what I'm doing before I drag myself out of bed to grab the ADRs.

For those venues requiring a CC guarantee, you will indeed need to enter a CC number...... dining plan or not.
