Need a little help with my t-shirts--tranfer ?

I've got my t-shirt designs finished and have the back of the shirts dones. Now I need a little help with putting the design on the front. What's the best way to do this without messing up the back? I figure I need to put something between/inside the shirt to keep the heat from going all the way through to the back. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what would work. I figure someone here would have the perfect solution!

I used a small cookie sheet wrapped in a towel and just put it inside the short. It is what I had handy and it worked lol.

Well, before I saw your reply, I tried a cookie sheet too. Didn't think about using a towel since the directions for the transfers said to use a flat hard surface. It almost worked. LOL Unfortunately, there were spots that didn't tranfer on the front well, because the heat traveled through the cookie sheet and I guess cooled to quickly.
Anyway, it finally came to me to call the craft store. She suggested a piece of wood or tempered glass.

Just finished doing 8 shirts with transfers on both sides. I used a wooden cutting board. Worked great.

That's exactly what I ended up doing! All 7 shirts are finished on both sides. Only had 1 that has a little ink missing. Luckily it's not in a prominant part of the design.
